I have a Word doc with all the cats we’ve had listed and when we lose one, I change the font to red.
Apparently the last time I counted the names, I skipped one.
I know what you mean about it sometimes being hard to know who’s missing when you have several of one color. Several years ago we had 12 that were black and 9 that were solid gray.
I use Advantage II flea drops and get them at Wal Mart. A lot cheaper than getting them from the vet. But you need to be able to hold the cats so you can apply the drops to the back of their neck. It needs to get down to the skin.
As dry as it is there, fleas might not be a problem like they are here. They like humidity.

Howdy, E.G.C. ((HUGZ))
Have you and Gizmo been lucky and not had much of a crowd to contend with the past couple days? Enjoy it while you can because the weekend’s almost here. :-)

Good morning, E...((HUGS))...hope you and Gizmo have good exploring weather.
We had a huge, but short, thunder storm. Thunder is rare here where I live.
Have a wonderful Friday.

Yes, we did have more problems with fleas on our dogs when we lived in GA. One of my poor babies got a tape worm from them. Took forever to get rid of it...but we did and he lived to a ripe old age.
Guess I’d better go. It’s later than I thought. See ya tomorrow! Can it be Friday already?? Sheesh!

Gizmo and I have had some luck with empty spaces the last few days. We'll have to see how Comanche Lake goes though.
I went ahead and did the grass cutting yesterday. Yes, we do have storms in the forecast tonight and tomorrow. It's forecast to be even worse Monday.

Well, I guess there’s one benefit to living in the desert. Might not be pretty and green but you don’t have the flea problem we have. :-)
Yep, it’s Friday already. I’m about finished putting tunes together and will head out soon too. Had to get up too early and it’s catching up now.
Catch ya tomorrow.

Great that you’ve been able to find some spots to let Gizmo run off some steam. Maybe you’ll have the same luck with Comanche Lake.
I’d heard y’all could have some rough weather the next few days. I hope it doesn’t get too rough!

Also, there is a "Mystery Cat" that eats with them and when they were little I had to stay out and keep him from bullying them. They hold their own with him now. LOL! Glad that was taken care of. How many neighborhood cats have found their way to your doorstep by now?
