Its who can grease the pockets of the other down here.

Either through cash payoffs or political favors.

For instance. There was a bunch who bought a bunch of land along the Colorado River a couple years ago. They bought it for the land-thats what they said at the time, and tried to sell the water rights for that land to the Phoenix cabal. Without water rights, that land is worthless

I understand the fight on that one is still going on.

Not when you consider all the other Republicans that received money. others are probably closer to re-election.

“purge the GOP of open borders pols”

I don’t think that goal is remotely possible in Arizona. I’d guess 25-35% of the GOP wants open borders and cheap labor more than they want anything else. That 25% includes 80% of big donors, maybe more.

BTW, rintintin, I do understand how you feel! I rarely have anyone to vote FOR. When I do, they lose because the Cheap Labor folks stay home. I’ve never met a Cheap Labor person who would support a conservative for anything, unless the ‘conservative’ also wants illegal immigration. Sickens me!

I am fourth generation on both sides of family“

So your family was there when Arizona Dems (at least some) were as conservative as Republicans. Sen McIntyre has that reputation

Yes, the Dems were conservatives in a classical sense. Pro union. Pro family.

The Republicans have rarely been conservative, but more libertarian and late rino.

Senator McIntyre????

McFarland?

Lol. Hayden was a fossil. He rode the Colorado River deal for decades.
