Wishing Mexico was our friend isn't worth a bag of horse droppings.
Mexico has abused the hospitality and neighborliness of the United States for over three decades.
How many more will it take for Mr. Romney to pull his head out of his _ss?
Mexico is occupying the United States. Is that what friends do?
Oklahoma Sen. James Lankford reportedly also criticized Trumps threat, saying the White House is trying to use tariffs to solve every problem but HIV and climate change.
I tweeted to McConnell and a few others that a vote against tariffs is a vote to continue open borders and the flow of illegals....and we are watching.
I suspect even clueless Rubio can see the storm brewing in America over this invasion.
Sen. Lanford would vote to block the 5% Mexico tariffs has done nothing to fix the problem. What is his plan? Romney do not want top put tariffs on a friend. he should start thinking about putting America first for a while not the CC. What is the Romney plan keep the CC happy
Clark Gable in "Gone With the Wind"(1938) Frankly Scarlet I don't give a damn.
“”Clark Gable in “Gone With the Wind”(1938) Frankly Scarlet I don’t give a damn.””
To be 100% accurate, he said - “Frankly my dear, I don’t give a damn.”
To which she replied, “I can’t worry about it today. I’ll worry about it tomorrow”....I think that’s the way it went and probably with a “fiddeldy dee” thrown in there somewhere. I wonder if any other movies of that time had any cuss words. My folks took us to lots of the movies in the ‘40’s - a lot of war movies and there wasn’t any cursing so it was possible to make them without it!!
You are correct. I guess we often see it written the way I quoted it because it identifies who he is talking too with out referencing the movie. Then again maybe I just misremembered it. {:-)
I regret that we have, as a society, embraced all the filth Hollywood has produced and now there is a big move to present homosexual families/relationships as entirely normal.

Boy - isn’t that the truth? When we saw the slippery slope we were on in the sixties, could the nation as a whole have said, STOP THIS NONSENSE? I don’t know. I know a lot of time (wasted hours?) was spent discussing how bad things were getting...I personally thought we were all talk and things would never GET AS BAD as we seemed to think they would. Oh! Boy! Was I ever wrong!!!
When we look at our culture today, I just want to curl up in a cave somewhere..or as Eddie Arnold sang, “Make The World Go Away”.
When we look back at the sixties - just think of how it was shaping up. Manson murders/Watts, Chicago, Detroit, Newark riots, assassinations of JFK, RFK, MLK, Evers - looked at from that angle makes one shudder, doesn’t it? And we still thought we’d come out of it ok? Nothing to measure it by so I don’t think we can be faulted.
Females aboard ship, Homos in the foxhole what could go wrong.
I never thought Churches would let it get this far, but they did.
It is kind of funny though that we used to feel like God watched our every move so we tried to behave accordingly, but we rejected that entirely, so God has turned that watchdog job over to the government. We are getting, as a culture, what we asked for.
