There have always been guys who 'couldn't get a date'.

In the past most of these guys would have thought they were the only ones.

From a practical standpoint, this problem can be largely solved by time. Eighteen year old guy turned down by high school classmates. As the boy grows older, the pool of potential mates expands. Outside of a handful of undesirable cougars, it doesn't work the other way. If you get credentialed (including vocational) and have steady employment, there will be good women who will give you a chance as you get older, even if you are not "wealthy" or particularly handsome.

Ah, here's the trick. Women do want the Top 20 percent of men, but the top 20% of men is different for every woman.

In my case, I married a tall, young, gorgeous blonde Canadian woman, whose definition of Top 20% included traditionally minded intelligent Catholic who wanted marriage for life and a family.

She would NOT be interested in a divorced protestant movie actor handsome billionaire. Neither would her parents.

She also wanted a fellow who had proved his high standards by not messing around ahead of time, so my previous "involuntary celibacy" (due to a lack of a wife) urned out to be an asset.

Figure out YOUR Top 20%, and find the woman who wants who you are.

I don’t think you understand the sub culture. Watch advertisements. Men are dumb ignorant and worthless. Our society is telling men they have no place in our culture. That is a recipe for disaster. Women reject men for being men. Society amplifies women, gay and minority culture while killing men’s value.

Can’t remember where but I read an article that women say they want the pro feminist, anti-macho type but then actually go with the others. We all knew that.

It said women can’t help obeying ancient instincts. They respond to a deep voice, muscles to some extent so they and potential babies can be protected, and like it if a man goes his own way and won’t reform to their rehabilitation attempts. Since the 1950s men have been portrayed as morons.

Since probably the 1970s they say there is no acceptable butt of an ad joke that can be used except for males. You don’t show the gay guy or the woman who chose the worst insurance or pizza deal or car repairs place-—its is always a man. The old movies with Doris Day or others had successful romance and marriage with men as a goal instead of the recent decades with defeat of a man in a boardroom as a goal. “A woman needs a man like a fish needs a bicycle” was a 1970s saying.
