President Trump said he's been briefed by Navy pilots regarding sightings of unidentified flying objects, but remained skeptical of the existence of UFOs.
George Stephanopoulos of ABC News raised the issue during an interview with Trump released Saturday.
"I was struck in the last few couple of weeks, we're reading more and more reports of Navy pilots seeing lots and lots of UFOs," Stephanopoulos said to a smiling Trump. "Have you been briefed on that? What do you make of it?"
"I want them to think whatever they think," Trump replied, referring to the Navy pilots. "I did have one very brief meeting on it. But people are saying they’re seeing UFOs. Do I believe it? Not particularly."

Not as a politician. I don’t really care if he does or doesn’t believe in UFO’s, but I ABSOLUTELY care that he doesn’t seem to give a crap if people agree or disagree with him...and he doesn’t parse his words.
I like that. I am sick to death of politicians. I generally appreciate people who speak plainly and bluntly, even if I am on the wrong end of it. But it does fill me with some hope for our country, even if for only a few more years.
It’s great to have someone who tells them what you would say yourself, but no conservative of any kind has for decades.

Steffie knows that the President believes that some pilots saw things they couldn't identify, but all Steffie could get was "not particularly."

If the President said "no, I don't believe the pilots," he would have been impugning the judgment of the pilots.
If the President said "yes, I believe the pilots," the Liberal headlines would have screamed, the President believes in UFO's.
"Not particularly" is very much like "no comment"...but more fun.

He didn't hear about it on the "shows" or on Twitter...he was briefed about it.
