Exposing an ongoing U.S. intelligence operation is TREASON under any circumstances. In the past, The Deep State and its arms have exposed U.S. intelligence (foreign) operatives in Afghanistan, Iraq and Red China, possibly even Cuba and Russia, causing the deaths of some of them, if not all of them (according to the NYT and WP, etc).
The “exposes’” might come under the Intelligence Agents Identity Act” of about 1983, one that Sen. Ted Kennedy tried to cripple with his debilitating amendments. (This was known as the “Agee Bill”, aimed at prosecuting people like him, a former CIA agent turned Cuban DGI/Soviet KGB operative (which he bragged about). He exposed many US intell agents and named people who weren’t as well, putting their lives in danger with a result that at least one, Welch, was assassinated in Greece, and possibly helping in the killing of U.S. officials in Lebanon (one by torture/hanging).
The NY Times has always been guilty of “treason” in one form or another (they ran stories from No. Vietnam by identified KGB Agent/Australian Communist Party member and identified Red Chinese uniformed interrogator of Allied POWS in No. Korean/Red Chinese hands in the Korean War - SISS, Testimony of Yuri Krotkov, his KGB recruiter).
Time to take the Times to the “dock” and expose them for a century of treason, acting as a Soviet disinformation medium, and FAKE NEWS like this.

Exactly correct. Does the rule of law exist anymore or does it not?
The NYT owns the report it published and is responsible for any serious repercussions that might occur as a result, including possible threats to national security. It should pay dearly for its reckless and irresponsible behavior.
