It’s only a mistake if Iran gets military actions as repercussions. Otherwise, ‘mistake’ is just a word.
Not everything has to be military response. To many people on these boards think of the military as a simple solution for complex problems. War should be a last resort, and when implemented, should be so horrific it ends quickly. I think Trump understands this concept, perhaps the first POTUS in my lifetime. I believe he is planning to hurt Iran by further isolating it economically......which is why they are already lashing out. They made a mistake because the picked on a POTUS who really knows how to hurt them.
In the Army they would say, “Iran Sh....t in their mess kit.”
