RANDOLPH, N.H. (AP) Seven people were killed in a crash between a truck and several motorcycles in New Hampshire, state police said Friday, in what witnesses described as a "devastating scene" as bystanders grabbed first aid kits and blankets to treat injured motorcycle riders scattered along the highway.

It doesn’t matter how they drive, only how they vote.
A always tell my friend when I see some jackass weaving around, “get away from this clown”
Thursday, Long Island Expressway, pm, four nasty rearend accidents, 2 in each direction in a 20 mile stretch between Queens aND Nassau. It’s getting rediculous.
And I hate riding in a pack, but I understand why bikers do it.
I want an exit plan.
Loud pipes is one of the reasons folks buy motorcycles.
Based on recent history the odds of an illegal driving the truck are high.
Yeah, I’m no fan. How many do you think would give up riding altogether if they couldn’t make as much noise? How much is about “look at me, look at me”? Heh! Regardless, I have lots of relatives who ride and enjoy and they do bring lots of loot to our state, so enjoy! P.S. If it isn’t the motorcycles, it’s the snowmobiles. Live free and die!
NTSB sending team to Randolph to investigate crash that killed 7
Seven People Dead After Pickup Truck Crashes Into Pack of Motorcyclists in New Hampshire
Sounds to me it was a mass murder. Intentional. Vehicles in deranged hands are weapons of mass destruction.
It’s interesting that the NTSB is coming, and that it’s conducting it’s own investigation.
A bunch of 40-plus executives where I work got motorcycle mid-lifes. The were not amused when I referred to it as “cosplay.”
That being said, they were sensible about it - they would tow their bikes to empty parking lots and ride around there. They knew they didn’t have skills for the open road.
It’s a significant coincidence that the bikers were only 500 feet from where they were staying. They probably were all over the road while they were gathering in their formation. If just one of them was in the wrong lane, the truck would lock up to stop and the empty trailer would fishtail.
10 to 1, it was the fault of one or more of the bikers.
You may have a point but I doubt it would apply to all MC riders.
Not much applies to all bikers.
There’slots of speculation on this thread with VERY little info.
One thing is for sure, there are lots of idiots driving cars, trucks and motorcycles these days.
Yours is a really good point. In my younger days I used to ride and although I belonged to no club I did ride occasionally with one and among it’s member were folks from all walks of life.
I was at the time a banker when they were respected and others who were in the club or sometimes rode with them were an accountant an attorney and 2 Dr’s. There really is no profile for who enjoys riding.
Over the 200,000 miles plus that I’ve driven in the past decade or so, I have noticed that the most disrespectful, aggressive, and road raging vehicles on the streets are none other than motorcycles and trucks.
I stay away from them, but even when you drive in the ‘slow’ lane these jerks will tailgate you.
People are just downright stupid out there. Surprised this type of accident doesn’t happen more often to be honest - as in daily.
