I will now resume ignoring.
What does he mean by “war”? The last time Congress declared war was WWII.
1941 when Japan attacked Pearl Harbor
Bump
Still guy is so full of shit that he could fertile all of Texas and parts of Arizona, New Mexico and Oklahoma as well.
Glad to see that he’s trying to be the poster boy for “Mental Health Year”, and it looks like he is succeeding. Guess his only competition is Schiff, Swallowswell, Blumenthal and BendOver Mayor Buttigieg.
whollycarp this guy is nuts...!!!
And to think the dumbocraps almost foisted him on us in the senate!
They spent $millons to unseat Cruz and replace him with this idiot.
One wonders if Mister O'Rourke might benefit from a comprehensive toxicology screen.

#23. Are you sure the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor in 1941. According to history professor Blutarsky, it was the Germans and I think Maxine Waters or Sheila TooTight HeadBand Lee Jackson said that too. Rep. Johnson thought that Guam would tip over with too many troops on it (but he’s not sure what war he was talking about either).
Singing “Don’t know much about history”. SARC.

Unbelievable........Who thinks this crap up?
How about we send to the combat theater the kids age 18-28 of every Congress Critter who votes for a war? Exemption if we are attacked first (such as Al Qaeda).
Including law enforcement/military?
Crazy people...
ORourkes war tax would require American families who make over $200,000 a year to pay $1,000 for each war embarked on by the United States.
What an idiot....
It's a class envy appeal. Don't think everyone is involved, the proposal is only for families "making" $200,000 per annum, a reflection of an old and provably false Democrat illusion that wealthy people are primarily Republican and don't send their sons and daughters to the military. I doubt seriously if the wealthy, urban Democrat base is going to think much of the idea.
Okay. We can exempt them.

As expected Beta Boi is going off the rails. Airhead.
Forget it, hes rolling.
As the son of a retired Army combat veteran, (WWII and Korea) and who witnessed first hand the hoops and BS they put my father through from 1963 until his passing in 1990 always under the excuse that his records burned up in the St. Louis fire, I submit to you my simpler plan:
If a vet:
1) Has a job with healthcare benefits (ex. 80%-20% or any combination of thereof), the Feds pay the remaining % to bring the benefit package to 100%
2)Doesn’t have a job, then the Feds pay for a 100% insurance policy
3) Convert all VA hospitals to serve Medicare or Medicaid only patients to those that don’t have a supplemental insurance plan.
All benefit determinations can only be made by a local board made up of Veterans. Local Board decisions can be appealed to national board made up by veterans. Board members can only serve for 4 years and receive a monthly stipend of $2,000. National board members will be selected by nominate by local veterans groups.
National Board must submit a quarterly public report to the Congress and the President on all cases brought before the local and National Board.
I’ll leave it open for further discussion.
