Heres a surprise twist we didnt see coming in the Venezuelan implosion saga. Theres a new visitor freshly arrived in Washington with some tales to tell and he probably knows plenty. His name is General Manuel Ricardo Cristopher Figuera and he was about as far into Venezuelan tyrant Nicolas Maduros inner circle as you could get. Until recently he ran the countrys highly feared secret police, the SEBIN. Before Maduro took power, Figuera spent a decade as the chief of security for his predecessor, Hugo Chavez. He reportedly studied his craft under communist spymasters in Castros Cuba. So this guy was on the inside.
But when Juan Guaido declared himself interim president and attempted to prod the military into revolt, Figuera jumped ship and backed Guaido. After the overthrow failed he went into hiding in Colombia, where he remained until now. But hes in Washington and hes ready to talk. (Washington Post)

He has beans?.........

Where all the bodies are buried................
Can’t gain weight lickin the pan
Maybe an inside perspective into the liberal panacea for all social ills of socialism/communism. No, it is not the wonderful thing that leftists continually praise.
This guy is in DC to save his skin. He was in Maduro’s inner circle so he knows things about Maduro.
He is looking to stay above ground.
If Herman Goering or Heinrich Himmler had come to Washington to spill their beans it would have been historically important. Downplaying the importance of this event doesnt make anyone look clever or funny.
“...Spilling The Beans”
Where is the PC OUTRAGE? /s
A “Latino” “spilling the beans”!!!!
RACIST!!! OFF with their heads!

No, hes taking a big chance because he has probably hated Maduro for some time and wanted to do this but couldnt because under Obama the US policy was very sweet and gentle with VZ. Bambi was a supporter, and of course Maduro - Chavez without the (mysterious to me) charm - thought it would all be cool until Trump thought otherwise.
So the big chance is not only to trust Trump personally, but to trust that the secret services of the US government wont turn him over to Maduros goons. Thats the big risk. Obama completely corrupted them.
There is no “people’s socialist democracy” without a secret police.
Interesting turn of things. Maybe there is something he knows that we need to know. Like a plot to kill Trump or those Americans in the Dominican Republic, or maybe some dirt of Obama or Hillary? Or even Biden or Kerry? Interesting to see what happens in the next few weeks.
I hope you’re right, because he’s probably a treasure trove of information. Or not.
Were going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good. Said a losing presidential politician once.
Let him talk and see if there’s any useful info there - he probably has a 3 minute shelf life if he ends up in Maduro’s hands.
Agreed.
