Former California State Assembly speaker and San Francisco mayor Willie Brown has declared, in the wake of the first Democratic Party presidential primary debate, that there is still no candidate who can beat President Donald Trump.
Brown made his observations in his most recent column for the San Francisco Chronicle on Saturday, titled, Bad news for Democrats none of these candidates can beat Trump.
Brown wrote:
The first Democratic debates proved one thing: We still dont have a candidate who can beat Donald Trump.
California Sen. Kamala Harris got all the attention for playing prosecutor in chief, but her case against former Vice President Joe Biden boiled down in some ways to a ringing call for forced school busing. It wont be too hard for Trump to knock that one out of the park in 2020.
Trump must have enjoyed every moment and every answer, because he now knows hes looking at a bunch of potential rivals who are still not ready for prime time.

It was the second time Brown has panned the Democratic primary field. He wrote in February, after President Trumps widely-praised State of the Union address: Make no mistake, President Trumps State of the Union address was the kickoff for his 2020 re-election campaign, and so far Ive yet to see a Democrat who can beat him.
They all have impressive credentials, winning personalities and positive messages, but none displays the people personality that our media-savvy president has mastered.

Willie Brown is an old-school corrupt Democrat who has little in common with the younger generation of Marxist ideologues, so he feels free to criticize them for missing the point that keeping the gravy train alive should matter more to them than destroying it in the name of ideology. Not one of the Democrats running is smart enough to listen to him except Biden, who is too scared of the base to talk like Willie. If Biden dared to, he would win the nomination easily.
Wookie. ...Wookie. ....Wookie. ...
He’s lost that lovin’ feeling.
I’ve been wondering if Trump will find a legal reason (perhaps centered on the Constitutionality or legality of ballot-harvesting, or of voting by non-citizens) to simply refuse to certify the election results of key Democrat states, like California.
Congress certifies the election, not the President.
Its been my thoughts for a long time that she will throw her hat in and be the savior of this disaster the Dems call a primary.
Willie knws Kamala will blow it.
Biden is still the most likely candidate to beat Trump... if he can get nominated.
The "what" is that there is no moral difference between the Me Too movement's abhorrence of a boss who demands sex in exchange for advancement and a subordinate who offers sex in exchange for advancement.
In either case a deserving third-party candidate is deprived of a job to which he or she was justly entitled. A bit like affirmative action, a bit like voter fraud. All part of a days work in the Democrat party.
Whom did Kamala Harris cheat of a job.?
Cronyism is the enemy of merit. Fill the government positions with cronies, or 29-year-olds willing to give it up for a sweetheart job with a high pay scale, and this kind of corruption leads to Californication.
Brown is smarter than the entire CA GOP combined.
I think Brown is a Trump Fan???
She must have denied him later on.
I spent a good many years doing City and County of San Francisco employee benefits. It was well known that excellent paying jobs were created for political friends of the mayor.
I heard that Kamala had a job that required her attendance at sporadic meetings, most of which she missed. I dont know where she spent her time when she wasnt doing her important job.
You list a lot of good reasons why they SHOULNT nominate The Wookie, reasons that might persuade the behind-the-scenes dem bosses NOT to nominate The Wookie... but that doesnt mean The Kenyan isnt trying, behind the scenes. Thats all Im saying. Not that hell pull it off, just that hes trying. It would explain the behavior of Willie.
Thanks. I should be using proper names. I corrected my error in a subsequent post.
Plus, it would be very difficult for the Dems to justify yet another male getting into the race.
“Dated? Brown was married. She was his mistress.”
Maybe he took her to dinner a couple of times and that was it?
Naaaaaaaaaaaaa
Dinner....and the hokey pokey.....then they
