When President Trump sent a Twitter invitation on Friday to North Koreas leader, Kim Jong-un, to meet at the heavily fortified Demilitarized Zone separating the Koreas just to shake his hand and say Hello(?)! both men had much to gain, and more to lose.
If Mr. Kim did not attend, even though his side had seemed intrigued, it would have embarrassed Mr. Trump and opened him up to more criticism for his unpredictable diplomacy. It would also have compounded the dramatic failure of their summit in Hanoi, Vietnam, which Mr. Trump abruptly called off in February. . . .
Tomorrow, North Korea will still have nuclear weapons, and the U.S. will still maintain sanctions, said Leif-Eric Easley, associate professor of international studies at Ewha Womans University in Seoul.

Carter wants his legacy back (as the worst President ever)
5% African Black, 0% Black American, 45% Arabic, and 50% Caucasian. By the way, the US president who may actually have had some African-American ancestry is Republican Dwight Eisenhower.
Have you seen photos of Obama’s father? No way was he 90% Arab and only 10% Kenyan; he was at least 90% Kenyan.
As for Eisenhower being part black ... LMAO! Maybe you’re thinking of Harding, whom Democrats accused of having black ancestry. But, in any event, there is absolutely no evidence that Harding was part black, either.
Some of the press hated Lincoln. One of them said he was embarrassed that his foreign buddies had to see Lincoln in person.
for being half-black..
By the time BO got the Nobel, it had become a gag gift.
The foundation to modernizing China’s military was sold to them by Bill Clinton for campaign cash - everybody seems to “forget” that point.
Being Black.
He went to school in Europe.
You are right about the ultimate consequences of those actions, but I would suggest to you a couple things from my perspective:
I believe President Nixon’s intentions were honorable from the outset. It was believed that the best way to turn a country away from communism, is to let them get a taste of prosperity and freedom. Otherwise we would be forever at war with them, be it cold war or shooting war. Obviously it did not work out that way.
Now that President Trump is engaging North Korea, I believe his intentions are also good. But if, in subsequent years and decades, it all turns out to be like China, will you blame President Trump for the actions of people long after he is out of office?
I also believe Reagan fully understood the problem of illegal immigration and had the vision that this is never going to stop without some kind of compromise with the Democrats, a hard pill to swallow. He trusted Tip O’Neil, a big mistake he later regretted - but with a hostile media and hostile Democratic Party and a not-so-friendly RNC, did Reagan have a choice?
The Dems did not hold up their end of the bargain (surprise, surprise) and we have what you see today. Is it Ronald Reagan’s fault for the actions of subsequent Congresses and Presidents and Governors and even big city Mayors? I think not.
Just my opinion. I understand others disagree, even disagree strongly.
“Didnt Reagan open the doors to USSR also???”
Nixon did that. Reagan ended the Cold War, and shortly thereafter, while Bush 41 was just getting the Oval Office swivel chair to fit him, the Berlin Wall came down and the Soviet Union collapsed. Truly earth shaking days to have witnessed.
And here they are again. PDJT may end up with his face on Mt. Rushmore, the way he’s going.
Ping fer later.
I’m waiting for all the weeklies to have on their covers, “Trump goes to NK.”
Boo fricken' hoo Jimbo...
A self-described “mongrel”.
I believe he went to school in the west.
Holy heck. Amazing video. Thanks. This is why we elected someone with that kind of balls.
Eisenhower had a black grandmother.
To him its The One. Drop Theory
