Gloria Vanderbilt left almost all of her estate to her youngest son, Anderson Cooper and nothing to her estranged middle son, Chris Stokowski, according to her will.
The document, filed Monday in Manhattan surrogate court, says the recently deceased socialite fashion icons eldest son Leopold Stan Stokowski will get her Midtown pad in a co-op at 30 Beekman Place, but all the rest of her property goes to the CNN host.
Vanderbilt the great-great-great-granddaughter of railroad tycoon Cornelius Vanderbilt died June 17 at age 95 after being diagnosed with advanced stomach cancer.
It wasnt immediately clear exactly what or how much Cooper will receive.
In 2014, he told Howard Stern in a radio interview that he didnt expect to inherit his mothers fortune, which has been estimated at $200 million.

He should retire to the beaches of France.
Someone is throwing a big party on Fire Island this weekend.
Mostly her wardrobe
The Vanderbilts used a lot of slaves to build the railroads that made them rich. Shouldn’t the money go to the descendants of those slaves? Anderson Cooper will be savagely criticized for becoming wealthy off the backs of slaves. Oh wait, he’s a fag. Nothing to see, move along.
Cuba............
He was already worth over a hundred mill.
I would.
The fairies will be overloaded
I dont believe in inheriting money I think its an initiative sucker. I think its a curse. Whos inherited a lot of money that has gone on to do things in their life? From the time I was growing up, if I felt like there was some pot of gold waiting for me, I dont know if I would have been so motivated.
Let’s see him give all his inheritance away, then. I won’t hold my breath.
That’ll buy a lot of Crisco and drop cloths.
All of the posts here are bashing Anderson. What the hell happened to the middle son, and do we think Anderson will spread the wealth around in his own family?
The article is about the middle son, right? Never let reading an article get in the way making an post.
No wonder he talks like a spoiled rich kid who never had to work an honest day in his life.
Do you realize you are quoting they son who doesnt inherit the Mom fortune? Other than an illiquid co-op apartment he isnt inheriting a fortune.
For a family to keep wealth for six generations is really something. I wonder how the other great great great great great grandchildren of Cornelius are doing.
The upside:
He surely no longer needs to work anymore so he can get his mug off of our televisions.
Amateur historian here: Few if any of Vanderbilt railroads were constructed before the Civil War. None were in the south or the new west where Chinese coolie labor was used so his use of slave labor is doubtful.
