PLEASANT PRAIRIE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Ten men were involved in the shoplifting incident at a Pleasant Prairie North Face on June 1, according to a criminal complaint.
Police say the men were in and out of the store within 30 seconds to a minute. They all entered at the same time, went into a corner of the store and grabbed several jackets off each rack before running out of the store.

Say what...! If I had every piece of clothing I ever owned in my whole life (I'm 75) in one pile, it wouldn't come up to half of that figure....

North Face jackets (down) are very expensive and really in vogue among the baggy pants population, so yes, it could easily come to that. There were ten of these guys, all grabbing jackets from different parts of the store. They clearly had targets in mind, and I doubt that they were taking the sale stuff.
3 jackets per thief times $100 per jacket = $30,000.

You need to go to a Nordstom. Just a single pair of underwear will run in the $30 range.

Apple even knows when you go to buy ammo or a gun if you take your Iphone with you.
Well, I guess, as a last resort, they could do what most of us have to do....earn the money first, then go out & buy the stuff. As an alternative, they could do without or go for the sale items.
Some days I can’t wait for sharia law. I’d be OK with hacking their hands off.
