Christine Pelosi, a Democratic National Committee official and daughter of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, warned conspicuously on Saturday evening that it is "quite likely that some of our faves are implicated" in the "horrific" sex-trafficking case against politically connected financier Jeffrey Epstein.

Epstein is due in court following his sudden arrest Saturday in New York on new sex-trafficking charges involving allegations dating to the early 2000s, according to law enforcement officials. He has been accused of paying underage girls for massages and sexually abusing them at his mansion in Palm Beach, Fla., and in New York City. His 72-acre private estate on the Virgin Islands, a home said to be nicknamed "Orgy Island," also has been under scrutiny.

"This Epstein case is horrific and the young women deserve justice," Pelosi tweeted. "It is quite likely that some of our faves are implicated but we must follow the facts and let the chips fall where they may - whether on Republicans or Democrats."

It’s already clear that they have nothing serious on Trump. If they did, it would have been all over the news yesterday, on every single station. Instead, there is a picture of him with Epstein and a really ambiguous quote that can be interpreted as praise (but is in reality much more fairly interpreted as a caution).

But the media have to throw these red herrings out there to try and defuse the incredible damage this scandal is going to do to their heroes on the sexually perverted left. Behind the scenes you can bet people like SDNY Attorney Comey are going to tell Epstein to just keep his mouth shut and they’ll get him the best deal possible. Just like state authorities did for him in Florida a decade ago.

Well, I'm pretty confused. Why are Pelosi's daughter, Comey's daughter, and the SDNY taking such a vocal, visible lead in this development? These people are NOT trustworthy.

Shouldn't people in Trump's DOJ be out front leading the charge (and the "narrative") if this is such great news about "cleaning house"?

I don’t know how far Barr will go to restore trust in DOJ

It was widely reported that shortly after becoming Attorney General, Barr was having "Brown Bag" lunches with DOJ employees because he was concerned that their "morale" was hurt by public criticism.

What a crock.

Instead of coddling them, Barr needed to read them the riot act. According to former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich, over 95% of the political contributions of DOJ employees went to the Hillary campaign.

Barr is a long, loooooong time Washington DC player. We all hope he will do the right thing, but I don't believe he will bring down Hillary and Obama.

Barr is not a savior. He also stated during his confirmation hearings that he was a huge supporter of "Red Flag Laws" to raid and take away firearms from citizens. Liberal salivated and clapped their hands with joy when he said that.
