Money and return them to their country of origin ?

Why punish Africans? They despise American blacks in general.

Amen, brother. Having to do so would have sped up innovation for technology. Eli Whitney could have spared thousands of lives if he had the impetus to have invented the gin earlier.

She probably couldn’t even name one Tupac song.

Reminds me of when Al Gore went up to Courtney Love and told her that he was a big fan. Courtney then asked Gore to name one song of hers’ and he couldn’t name one.

back to the point I was making about disparities around education

Maybe she's going to come out in favor of full school choice so that low-income, inner city, black single mothers can get their kids out of public school detention camps and into decent private or parochial schools.

All modern humans are 'Out of Africa', or so the theory says. I know my ancestors would not leave an idyllic place such as Africa voluntarily so my ancestors must have been forced out.

Eleven trillion dollars sounds like fair compensation for that.

Reparations were paid in 700,000 lives lost, tens of thousands of arms, legs, eyes lost, destroyed families...1861-1865. millions of dollars in property damage.

Paid in full.

Even if whites picked up and moved to some uninhabited land in the Arctic, by and for themselves only, the blacks would want to follow them there.

What if we gave every black person a couple white slaves for let’s say 400 years? Would that be enough?

“What does she want now?”

She might be satisfied if she has her own personal house servant, one of the formerly “white male hetero-privileged class”, to step-and-fetch-it while saying “yes ma’am”.

That, and the money, of course!

Good point..

And that reminds me of the time Obama visited the broadcasters at a White Sox baseball game. Obama said he was a big White Sox fan. One of the broadcasters asked him who his favorite player was. Obama could not name a favorite.

Some politicos love to pander.

How much more black home ownership does Kamala want?

HUD already offers Community Block Grants that build brand spanking new homes for “qualified low income applicants” at zero cost to applicant but on the taxpayer’s dime.

The 2008 subprime mortgage crash was because lenders had been disallowed to set reasonable income/ ability to repay standards for borrowers, thanks to Senator Obama & ACORN.

The market crashed, taxpayers bailed out banks, and Loretta Lynch collected billions in penalties, which she GAVE to community “nonprofits” like BLM, instead of returning to the Treasury.
Jeff Sessions put a stop to this, & y’all cheered when Trump fired him.

Thousands of foreclosed homes then flooded the market at bargain basement prices, along with “downpayment assistance” grants of $20-100,000 for targeted at-risk “communities”.

So essentially, once again people whose incomes werent sufficient to cover the note & annual property taxes were moved back into discounted high-dollar housing, and given thousands of dollars in equity for free, with taxpayers covering the down payment.

Now Ms. Harris wants to screw the taxpayers more.

My argument against reparations is that it is an unconstitutional Corruption of Blood.

Article III Section 3 says:

Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court.

The Congress shall have power to declare the Punishment of Treason, but no Attainder of Treason shall work Corruption of Blood, or Forfeiture except during the Life of the Person attainted.

"Corruption of Blood" punished the families for the crimes of an individual, and was banned in the Constitution for the only capital crime mentioned in the Constitution.

One could make a good case that if Corruption of Blood was forbidden for the highest crime in the land, it is also forbidden for everything inferior.

Punishing a descendent of a slave owner for the acts of a great-great-grandparent would be corruption of blood and unconstitutional.

I would further argue that forcing taxpayers to pay reparations today is an ex post facto law, and is also unconstitutional.
