OK, then - please let us know what "would be enough".
Just like the answer to "the rich need to pay their fair share" should always be "Please define what would amount to their fair share", the correct answer to "gibsmedat reparations" is "what would be necessary to mark the account 'paid in full'?".
If we are going to talk about these things, it would be good to know what we were talking about.

They mean business; they’re NOT Americans any longer. Used to be that we all generally loved our country, but had differences on policy. Not the case now. When someone says they want us gone or dead, we’d best believe them and respond accordingly.

Kamala, start talking about personal responsibility, getting an education, getting a job, not having children when you are 14, staying away from drugs, buying a house you can afford, the notion of planning for the future and other things that are currently described as acting white.
We’re 5-6 generations past US slavery. There is a very small percentage of 100% pure black African slave descendants in America. She knows check won’t work because they’d be writing checks to themselves.
What else? Have Oprah ask the 100% pure white decedents of slave owners in her audience to stand up and apologize to those very few 100% pure black African slave descendants? Hey, she did that back in the 80s. It was on her show where she had on the “passing” Sally Hemings and Jefferson’s (Thomas or his brother or his nephew or maybe it was some random dude) decedents but don’t try finding it on youtube because those few minutes have been deleted.
Not one word about the Union soldiers who died in the Civil War that freed our slaves. Yes, “our” slaves, because it is a part of our U.S. history, which defines us. When the freed slaves are ready to pay back the families of those soldiers we can talk reparations then.
We are / were a species expected to morally grow past our biases and worldly distinctions. Identity politics prevents us from doing that.
