That is true. But the “big” info re immigration fraud hadn’t been exposed until after the rally, so it wasn’t a thing at that time.
At the rally, the focus was on Trump’s tweets about going to her native country and fixing that sh!thole.

New Video Exonerates Covington Catholic Students
Here’s how the controversy (the biggest so far of 2019) was described by someone on Twitter:
“A group of students wearing MAGA hats were chanting their high school chant so this man comes over with his drum and walks over to them. He gets in one students face and bangs him drum. It was recorded and has turned into “white students harass Native American banging his drum” when all the kid is did was stand there while this man went looking for trouble. The left has doxxed the student and are calling for him to be expelled. Of course they are sending him very tolerant death threats. That’s the gist of it.”
Notice at 1:39 the students are told “You white people, go back to Europe where you came from.”
2:30 Student asks, “What did we do?” Native American: “You’re being white. That’s all you need to do.”

Freshman Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., has apparently deleted an overnight tweet going after Covington Catholic students anew, after facing a social media backlash for her comments.
She wrote: “The boys were protesting a woman’s right to choose & yelled ‘it’s not rape if you enjoy it’ ... They were taunting 5 Black men before they surrounded Phillips and led racist chants ... Sandmann’s family hired a right wing PR firm to write his non-apology.”
Nominate her for the Supreme Court, let the Senate hearings into her past and her antisemitic views be publicly exposed, on the record, and under oath.
Well, if we can ensure she becomes an albatross around their necks, I daresay the ‘Rats will take care of the problem for us. One way or another. They really do eat their own.

Speculation that he did this for two reasons: 1) Ivanka pushed it; and 2) much more importantly, Ilan Ohar is under investigation by Trump’s Justice Dept. for immigration fraud and a defense would be that any prosecution would be tainted by the President’s comments. Remember when Nixon said that Charles Manson was guilty as hell? The press went wild that this child of nature was being “prejudged” and his lawyer filed for a mistrial.

They know they can never win a debate or discuss an issue persuasively, so they have to resort to whatever tactics will prevent people from actually listening to opposing views.
This includes :
Shaming people who try to listen by implying they are sympathizers (’you Uncle Tom!’/ you NAZI lover) in the hopes the fear of being caught listening will stop them.
Shaming people who try to listen by implying they are stupid (’don’t you know they are misogynists/NAZIS/racists/rednecks?)
Discouraging people from even being in the same room with a conservative by threatening to unfriend them or by claiming they’ll get cooties
Encouraging people not to listen by feeding them false information about what the other side said, will say, or believes and hoping laziness will lead once interested listeners to assume they are well informed and not bother to hear it for themselves.
Boycotting any business that promotes opposing views.
Protesting anyone with opposing views and hoping to deter people from attending, even blocking access, taking up seats, or making bomb threats or hinting of vandalism to attendees’ cars.
Drowning out with noise any opposing speaker; shouting over them, or filling up questions and answer time with rambling questions full of straw men and false assumption.
Throwing objects at the speaker, making speaking expensive ‘you can speak but only if you can pay for enough security’... to protect you from raging liberals intent on violence.
Turning books written by opposing authors over so they will be overlooked at book stores or libraries, or hiding them under the wrong topics....

I’m not bothered by the substance of the chant. It only bothered me because as soon as I heard it I knew the media would blow it up to ridiculous proportions, which they did.
