On Thursday, another decades-old quote of Bidens surfaced courtesy of the Trump campaigns opposition research team
Since entering the presidential race, former Vice President Joe Biden has faced repeated questions about past statements hes made criticizing school busing, fondly remembering racist white senators, and helping pass draconian laws in the ill-conceived drug war.
On Thursday, another decades-old quote of Bidens surfaced courtesy of the Trump campaigns opposition research team. A September 20, 1987, story in the Philadelphia Inquirer reported Biden had bragged about receiving an award from George Wallace, the former Alabama governor and one of Americas most notorious segregationists.
The same story went to quote a presidential primary campaign speech Biden had given in Alabama in which he said we (Delawareans) were on the Souths side in the Civil War.

Slow Joe is so freaking dumb, he can even screw up a screwup.
What?
Mebbe Slow Joe should apologize for the Emancipation Proclamation excluding Delaware’s slave owners.
Since he already lacks any understanding of the complexity of history, he’s well prepared for this task.
Now WHY, would left statist Rolling Stone, re-print something from the "Trump campaign's opposition research team"?
Methinks the ladies doth protest too much.
The Republican state administration was sympathetic to President Lincoln's proposal for compensated emancipation of slaves. However, the Democratic party swept the 1862 elections and the state was thereafter hostile to efforts at emancipation.
Delaware remained a slave state throughout the civil war and (along with Kentucky) was one of the last two states in which slavery was legal.
“Del-Uhhhh...where was a Union State...”
Delaware was a Union slavery state.
Now here is where it gets interesting. According to popular urban lore, Delaware the slavery state sent troops to fight the slavery state of Virginia “to free the slaves.”
And the Union slavery state of Maryland sent troops to fight the slavery state of North Carolina “to free the slaves.”
And the Union slavery state of Kentucky sent troops to fight the slavery state of Tennessee “to free the slaves.”
And so forth and so on.
So Lieawatha is the nominee?
I visited the Andersonville Confederate prison camp for Union soldiers in Georgia; the camp has a diorama of what prison life was like there. There’s a POW museum there about all the POW’s from the Civil War up to Viet Nam. There was a history of CSA prison camps and Delaware was mentioned. Since Creepy Joe is so proud about Delaware being in the CSA I thought I’d mention this:https://www.abandonedspaces.com/conflict/fort-delaware.html
Delaware wasn’t in the CSA. Why would a Union state maintain a prison for Union soldiers?
Wait one. Let me go back and check again; I may have misspoke.
When I went to check on CSA POW camps I read it wrong (having Joe's statement in my mind) I flipped it to be a CSA POW camp for Union troops rather than other way round much to my chagrin.
I just gotta be more careful of what I read and interpret.
No, I do not do that when flying. I'm a completely different person on the flight deck. People say I'm not the same person as on the ground.
The key is getting Biden the nomination by March 4, 2020; and then make GropinJoe relive every single one of his gaffes over and over and over and over for the next 8 months.
Because, frankly, Milwaukee could be a mess for the Democrats. ANTIFA DSSA, JustusDems, and the other nutroots will have seen the writing on the wall by then -- Biden rallies pulling maybe 1,500 in cow pens, while Trump has 25,000 inside and another 10,000 outside.
If it's Biden-whiteguy, they will. He won't even get the black women saturation vote Hillary got.
Or do you think another possibility is the Trump team trying to drag out the Dem primary process as long as possible and make Dem candidates create a circular firing squad?
Slow Joe will pander to anybody.
The civil war was based on ports of call and the ability to tax them.
