This weekend, bought 4 new pairs of sneakers (2 for DC & 2 for Houston) & a new gym bag. @nike has decided they don’t want my business anymore. On the left are my new DC sneakers; on the right, it’s all headed to Goodwill. #WalkAwayFromNike pic.twitter.com/naKcRhH6ZZ— Ted Cruz (@tedcruz) July 24, 2019

He should have cut them up and trashed them.

Should’ve replaced them with New Balance.

The ones on the right are Asics, not Nikes.

Which would be attacked by his opponents as wasteful and foolish.

Correctly so - donating to Goodwill means that people in need will benefit instead of perfectly serviceable footwear going to the landfill.

Amen! New Balance is not always 100% USA made, but where at least 70% is, they are labeled made in USA...

Nike doesn’t fit me worth a crap! Have bought exclusively New Balance for almost 20 years and I can get a good fit! Won’t waste good money on Made in China junk if I can avoid it...

Stuff it, Nike and your little dog Kapernick too!

My Addidas sneakers lasted 20 years.

Too much plastic trim nowadays.

"He should have cut them up and trashed them."

Oh I dunno. The more used Nike stuff out there the fewer new sales they'll get...

Athletic gear? Really? Do real “work” and you’ll never need to “work out.”
