San Juan (AFP) - Tens of thousands of water bottles destined for desperate Puerto Ricans after devastating back-to-back hurricanes slammed into the US island territory remain unopened on farmland almost two years later, emergency aid officials confirmed Monday.

Aerial images captured by AFP show a sea of water bottles, packaged into massive bundles, heaped on what appears to be a private estate in the Higuillar neighborhood in Dorado, 25 miles (40 kilometers) west of San Juan.

In some pictures, the ground isn't visible through the piles. In others, broken pallets can be seen among the stacks.

FEMA gave Puerto Rico millions of bottles of water, Puerto Rico let them sit in a field, and it's FEMAs' fault.

That's how the Democratic Media Complex create narratives for Democrats.

Of course, when questioned, FEMA officials will accept their failure instead of screaming, 'WE DELIVERED THE DAMN WATER! IT WAS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF GOVERNMENT AGENTS TO DISTRIBUTE THE WATER TO THE PEOPLE IN NEED!"

And this is reported in the French press. The American press is pushing another message and this doesn’t fit.

Unless we can deliver the aid directly to the people their governments will steal and squander it.
Look at Haiti.. still a Hellhole after we gave them billions in aid.

Haiti has been a strictly black controlled country since 1805 when they killed all of the whites and took the country. Nuff' said.

And this is reported in the French press.

The American press uses Puerto Rico to slam Trump and Republicans so they won't report anything that makes democrats look bad or Republicans look good.

I got roped into a FEMA response to Hurricane Floyd, back in 1999. FEMA was bringing truckloads full of water in, but they did not have any means to transfer the water to smaller trucks for delivery.

Their plan was to bring the water, drop it off on the ground, and arrange loading into distribution vehicles at some future date. Knowing that the second part would never happen, we were not eager to accept the delivery of 12,000 pallets of water for an indefinite period (forever).

We cut a deal. If FEMA brought in the trucks, we would run the forklifts for as long as it took to get the water transferred to the delivery vehicles. I ran a forklift, 20 hours a day, for a solid week, moving pallets of water. But at the end of that week it was all gone.

BTW, you might think you can get away with a double stacked pallet to move water, but you really can’t. You gotta move those pallets one at a time.

I would blame the local government for not properly taking the delivery.

In our case it was FEMA to FEMA.

I don’t know about the Puerto Rico case.

“Haiti has been a strictly black controlled country since 1805 when they killed all of the whites and took the country. “

And cut down all the coffee plantations which slit the throat of the island’s economy ever since.

And yet they blamed Trump. Reality: the moment the hurricane happened the left prepared to find a way to blame Trump. I’ll never forget how they turned “Katrina” into a meme against Bush.

Every State and evidently PR have their own FEMA but some are better at things than others.

The more Leftist, the more corruption and ineptness.

Dumping free food and sending doctors makes it impossible for Haiti to establish viable farming and to allow Haitians to become doctors in their own country, how can you compete with free stuff from abroad?

There it is. Come on. Say it isn’t.

Puerto Rico is corrupt.

We put money and supplies there and anything that can be sold or hauled off by their 'elites' disappears.

It's like Baltimore - everyday citizens don't get crap - but the 'elites' do very well.

Similar to how the DC's deep state has operated in the past - the difference being our deep state works to get laws changed so common bribes are made legal if a person hops on one foot while whistling American the Beautiful backwards. Then it's legal to charge $500,000 for a 40 minute speech ...

From The U.S. Occupation of Haiti From 1915 to 1934

"Unhappy Haiti

[1915 - Americans take over] Although the violence had ceased and order had been restored, most Haitians did not approve of the occupation. They wanted Bobo as president, resented the Americans’ high-handed attitude towards the reforms and were indignant about a Constitution (one section allowed whites to own land) that was not written by Haitians . The Americans managed to irk every social class in Haiti: the poor were forced to work building roads, the patriotic middle class resented the foreigners and the elite upper class was mad that the Americans did away with the corruption in government spending that had previously made them rich. (Sounds like President Trump vs the Swamp.)

Legacy of the American Occupation

[1934 - Americans leave] For a while, the order established by the Americans lasted in Haiti. The capable Vincent remained in power until 1941, when he resigned and left Elie Lescot in power. By 1946 Lescot was overthrown. This marked the return to chaos for Haiti until 1957 when they tyrannical François Duvalier took over, beginning a decades-long reign of terror.

Although the Haitians resented their presence, the Americans accomplished quite a bit in Haiti during their 19-year occupation, including many new schools, roads, lighthouses, piers, irrigation and agricultural projects and more."

After those nasty Americans left, everything went downhill - again.
