The stated purpose of Proposition 187 was to make immigrants residing in the country without legal permission ineligible for public benefits. The California Legislative Analyst's Office estimated that the measure would save the state about $200 million per year.[2]

Gee how "radical".

Can’t they just say it in a few words instead of a book

Yes. I think the author got paid by the word for that one.

But at least it was a dreary read.

How can one articulate about something they know nothing about?“

Exactly. Of course, goes for half the GOP.

No, the reason is massive, decades long, unchecked, voter fraud.

Run a simple litmus test, if ever visiting CA. Talk to the folks that live there, you will find most are not all that liberal at all, most are downright conservative. And they vote that way..... but as we saw in the midterms, republicans winning and then losing after a week or so?

Motor voter, ballot harvesting, more votes than registered voters, ect, ect. Been going on a long time here in CA, but no one ever looks into it.

Naw. They do like me and my wife did up in The Peoples Socialist Marijuana State of Washington Fools and Idiots, all who graduate from Bill Gates High School on free scholarships. My wife lived most of her life up there. I retired from the Army up there. After 15 years, I said enough, she retire from the Bank Whore of Amerika and we left that pig pen for good and came down to my home state, the Most Conservative State in these US of A’s, the State of Alabama. Now we are as happy as two snipers with crosshairs on target!!!

I’ve given up hope on California. The wealthy will live in their secure gated communities, and the rest of urban CA will be street gangs, addicts, illegals, homeless, and miserable liberals wondering why nothing gets fixed. Middle class conservatives will vote with their feet and find home elsewhere.

So they want republicans to be less conservative and to renounce Trump? Why not just change your registration to be democrat and be done with it.

California is the beginning of the destruction of America if we let it continue. California population areas are controlled by communists Democrats and the mentally ill. It will take one hell of a force to put down this crap hole.

Some truth in the article, but he could have simply presented a graph of the Latino and total non-white percentage of the California population and that would have explained it all.

RE: And they vote that way..... but as we saw in the midterms, republicans winning and then losing after a week or so?

Heck even the relatively conservative Orange County FLIPPED in 2018 and voted Democrat. I’ll say this — the further from the coast the area is, the more conservative it tends to be. But their votes are OVERWHELMED by the bigger cities of Los Angeles, San Francisco and Sacramento.

The same is true for New York State. The further one is from New York City and Albany, the more conservative the area becomes. But, but, but — as NYC goes, so goes New York State.

California will soon become Baltimore on a state scale. The far-left gains power, demographics change, and then its impossible to get these liberals out of power. Meanwhile, the rich live in the gated communities and Hollywood lives in its bubble. And now there is no way to fix it.

Sad reality of what that state has become and should serve as a warning to the rest of the country what happens when you hand the keys over to the far-left.

“After that, Arnold just gave up.”

I’m not saying it happened — I certainly don’t know — but have you ever wondered whether Arnold might have been blackmailed, and that might account for his change in direction? Just asking questions.

“A lot of our statewide, voted on opinions were overturned by Liberal judges.”

Yes, heaven knows we try.

Funny, I couldn’t locate that particularly vital piece of information when skimming through this agenda driven pile of lies.

Can it explain Texas as well?

Ronald Reagan, one of my personal heroes, is rightly seen as the man who won the Cold War. Ironically, though, winning the Cold War was terrible for the GOP in CA. You can draw a line from the Bush 41/Clinton-era military base closures to the beginnings of the GOP’s decline in the state. What many people don’t realize is that California absorbed approximate 55% (!) of the Department of Defense base closures and personnel cuts that were made in the ‘90s. When you lose all those military families... and support personnel and their families, there’s going to be an impact on the base of conservative-leaning voters. Combine this with a general flight of the white middle class out of the state and it’s no mystery what happened to the CA GOP.

I knew it was over when in 2005 the initiative to prevent public sector unions from forcing membership on all employees failed.

Then Schwarzenegger said “all the climate data is in” and went total green, against the will of those who got him elected.

California has been toast ever since.

The problem in California comes from liberal indoctrination. It starts in the public schools, and continues with the local news and public affairs shows. Instead of education and journalism, we get agenda-based activism.
