Special counsel Robert Mueller's 22-month long investigation cost approximately $32 million, according to new figures released Friday from the Department of Justice.

Between October 2018 and the end of May 2019, Mueller's investigative team spent roughly $6.5 million during the last six months of his investigation. It has previously spent $25 million through September of last year.

The Justice Department said some of the costs would have been incurred even without Mueller's investigation.

Mueller testified before Congress last week in what is likely to be his only Capitol Hill appearance about his investigation.

And what was Mueller’s personal take for sitting on his a$$, and doing absolutely nothing? Aren’t we allowed to know the breakdown of each individual’s salaries?

I recall being reminded daily of how much the Ken Starr investigation cost. The media just pushed it like it was as big a deal Pearl Harbor. Well not that bad but it was really in the news.

The PIAPS, the Kenyan Usurper, and all their filthy ilk that were involved with this, should be forced to pay the Treasury back....as a bare minimum. In a real world, they’d all be tried for sedition/treason.

Cut an invoice for $32M to the DNC, and Hillary Clinton. It won’t cost much to do so, and we’d at least have something on the books.

32 million... Chicken feed!

What about the billions that flow into CA and MD (Baltimore) and disappear forever and no one cares or notices...

I think there is a case to sue for defrauding the American taxpayers. Target Wiseman, Mueller, Comey and Rosenberg to pay it all back!

Special counsel Robert Mueller's 22-month long investigation cost approximately $32 million...

I think he got more than $40M back from Manafort alone so he paid for himself.

32 million to fully employ a dozen Democrat lawyers for 22 months? That’s some kind of bargain. Either that or they are in reality really cappy lawyers who couldn’t feed themselves otherwise.

All of the Mueller team new the charges were false very early on. They should all be charged with defrauding the government and the funds should be recovered.

They offloaded a lot of the cost to other jurisdictions such as SDNY.
