SHOOTER ATTACKS CALIFORNIA GARLIC FESTIVAL
He’s an odd doc, admits to being half Iranian. He has an unusual social media presence. When it first happened, early Monday morning local time, late Sunday California time, there was great suspicion that he had an accomplice.
He was 19 years, now dead thank God. He got it into his head he needed to kill a lot of people because he was “angry”.

Santino William Legan, 19, has been identified by CBS News as the suspect in the mass shooting at the Gilroy Garlic Festival in California. The shooting Sunday night on the final day of the annual event at Christmas Hill Park in Gilroy left three dead, 15 injured and the suspected shooter, Legan, killed by police. Several others were injured in the chaos after shots were fired, but were not shot, authorities said.

PRESIDENT TRUMP NAMES NEW HEAD OF NATIONAL INTELLIGENCE
The status of the many intelligence agencies in this country is very confusing. Dubya finally grouped them all under one intelligence umbrella. Dan Coats is the current Director of the National Intelligence Agency. I don’t know much about Dan Coats but evidently he is not much liked. The new DNI is Congressman John Ratcliffe of Texas, he who did a wonderful job with the articulate and jolly Bob Mueller when he was interviewed by congress.

BELOVED BALTIMORE
President Trump has triumphed mightily this week. Mueller started it off with a horrible session testifying before congress.
And the Democrats keep wanting that money immigrants from south of the border pay them so they don’t want immigration enforced and will say bad things about border patrol to try and cause Americans disgust.
The marvelous Elijah Cummings, a man that will lie readily for free but usually he gets some kind of payback, comes out with some absurd story that children held at the border are forced to sit in their own feces.
First this is a lie, sort of like that drinking out of the toilet nonsense.
But President Trump flung it right back, pointing out that Cummings beloved Baltimore is an unholy mess complete with rats and slums.
The Dems lost this debate right there. For Baltimore, perhaps never a beautiful or famous city but one with lots of personality and simple design, has become a cesspool of crime and rats.

Because I am, as I type, 69 years old. I grew up in Baltimore, loved it, loved it, beautiful inner harbor, great waterfront.....loved it, worked everywhere in its confines.

It’s an old story and most who know me are probably bored. But my father was shop steward for Baltimore carpenters union 101. As such the mayor would often hire him to work on his house in Little Italy. My brother and I, around 9 and 10 at the time, would sometimes accompany my father, help with tools, clean up.
The Mayor of Baltimore at that time was...TADA...Mayor D’alesandro, Nancy’s father! I’d see Nancy often, just a few years older than me. She had everything, father the mayor, crisp pleated skirts of her Catholic school, begging her mother and buttering her father and... ....ok, let me take a breath.
Anyway, somebody on these political shows should point out how Nancy Pelosi is from Baltimore with a father and a brother that were once Mayors.
Now when Nancy was in Little Italy Baltimore was beautiful. Unlike good ole Elijah, Nancy didn’t steal the taxpayer money and let the city run down.
Baltimore was prosperous, the “monumental” city it is called.
But she never took some time to figure out what the hell Elijah was doing to her town so filled with her dna.
My granddaughter lives there now and I worry about her all the time.

I didn’t listen in to the Democratic debates on CNN because, well I just can’t stand CNN. They lie about everything.
But I have listened to all the after-debate chatter and heard sound bytes on Rush. Lots of racism, lots and lots of racism. Environmental racism. Monetary racism. Housing racism.
Racism, racism, racism. Racism, racism, racism. Racism, racism, racism. Racism, racism, racism. Racism, racism, racism. Racism, racism, racism. Racism, racism, racism. Racism, racism, racism.
Forget immigration, better housing for our corrupted inner cities. Forget going to Mars. Forget Iran and its danger upon.
We must discuss racism, call everybody not us a racist.

DOGS AND THE TOILET
Of course my dog comes to me as I sit upon the toilet. Because she knows, as does every dog with four paws and a tail, that when humans sit on the white thing with a hole in it they are void of all distractions. Their hands shall be free to pet upon our heads. They shall be right at our eye level and will often talk and smile at us while they do whatever they are doing on that white thing.
SPEAKING OF DOGS, LEARNING THE HARD WAY
My dog is eight years old. She was a rescue dog four years ago. It didn’t take me long after getting her from the shelter to learn that Jackie (that’s her name) has a problem with her digestion.
She throwed up for one solid week after I got her.
But I didn’t give up. She did love me and we’ve always enjoyed each other’s company.
Over these past few years I have steadily learn just what it is that Jackie can eat without throwing up.
This year I got her down to some home-made chicken soup (powdered chick broth, noodles, any leftover meat) and a package of that dog food supposed to look like meat but with a texture like bum. Hey, Jackie loves it.
So a week ago I had two rib bones from a Chinese restaurant. As a treat I gave one to Jackie.
Jackie began eating a towel (oh, did I mention she eats towels and sometimes an entire area rag?) She will eat the rug after ingesting something that I suppose causes her pain. Then she hacks up a pile of digested towel which, oddly, is dry and doesn’t stain and is easy to scoop up.
Jackie will get no more bones.
Learning the hard way.
BACHELORETTE HANNAH TAKES BREAK FROM FOUR MONTHS OF CRYING
Hannah, the most recent Bachelorette, has to be one of the most boring bachelorettes ever on that show.
Lord she cried. She cried and she cried and did I mention she cried?
She took Jed the singer but he turned out to be a liar and her parents were concerned that he was a song-writer and made no money.
Earlier in the show she was fixated on some asshole named Luke. THAT took up six shows, boring, boring.
She turned down Tyler and the show ended with her kicking out Jed and maybe taking Tyler back into her life.
Boring, tears. And by the way, Hannah, if she isn’t crying, seems to have no hobbies or interests. AND SHE SURE DOESN’T KNOW HOW TO PICK A MAN!!!

THE SECOND DEMOCRAT DEBATE
Again we had a bunch of unknowns debating how bad Trump is, how everyone in America is a racist and other important items so important to our country. One member of the web site FreeRepublic vowed to take a drink every time a candidate said the word “racist”. This member has been missing for three days so far.
Tulsi Gabbard made a smack at Kamala Harris, says she locked up thousands of people for mere marijuana possession and laughing about it when asked whether she had smoked pot herself.
I heard that she made some snide remark about having family from Jamaica.
Frankly I don’t see anything so awful about this verbal exchange. Once upon a time smoking marijuana was a serious crime. And hey, if your family’s from Jamaica…well it ain’t rocket science. I kind of admire Kamala’s spirit on this one.

Joe Biden, 76, repeatedly stumbled over numbers and phrases throughout his second Democratic presidential primary appearance Wednesday night, at one point accidentally endorsing one of his primary rivals.
Biden told viewers that if they agree with him, "go to Joe 3-0-3-3-0." He likely meant to tell them to text the number 30330, which subscribes supporters to text message Biden campaign updates.
Near the beginning of the Detroit debate, Biden said that California Sen. Kamala Harris' plan on "Medicare for all" single-payer healthcare "in 10 years will cost $3 trillion," misstating estimates that find "Medicare for all" would cost $32 trillion over a decade.
The former vice president, who spent 36 years in the U.S. Senate before another eight as vice president, later gave a different figure in line with popular estimates: "My plan costs $750 billion. That’s what it costs. Not $30 trillion."
In his closing remarks, Biden warned that "eight more years of Trump will change America in a fundamental way," despite President Trump being constitutionally limited to one more four-year term after 2020. It was a flub of a frequent Biden campaign line: "Four years of Donald Trump would be an aberration in American history. Eight years will fundamentally change who we are as a nation."

EDITORIAL BY PAT
TIME FOR A TRUMP OVAL OFFICE CHAT
With the Mueller report done and his horrible testimony before congress over with, I softly suggest that President Trump consider a presidential oval office chat to the American people.
Sure Trump gives wild and raucous speeches before crowds at various events across the fruity plains. He does it well and it’s obvious he enjoys it.
But sometimes a leader has to sit down, look in the lens of the camera, and give a serious chat to those he or she leads.
First, no bragging. Braggadocio, loud and unashamed is perfect for those large crowds. For the oval office address to the people, Trump should be somber and serious.
My own proposed excerpt below.

“I’d like to take some time and address the citizens of the United States of America. I have some issues I’d like to put before the people in a fair and unbiased talk.
As you know I was accused of involving the Russians in our election of 2016, via my campaign. In a torrent of confusing moves, a special prosecutor was assigned to investigate me and the people involved in my election.
Let me be honest here, I had a country to run when all this was going on. I was meeting new people, learning structures and systems and ways of doing things.
Yes, I was busy.
Further, I resented being accused of something I did not do. At times I threw things around the room. At times I threatened firing everybody, including Smokey the Bear.
When all was said and done, I did the right thing. Oh sure plenty of people had to hold me back, guide me along the way, stop me in my angry tracks.
I daresay my fellow Americans that any of you hearing this tonight would have been upset had you been falsely accused, watched your friends and colleagues get punished because of their association with you. I knew I was despised for winning the election and the goal was to remove me from my duly elected office.
And so after two plus years, Mueller’s report came in and guess what? NO collusion with the Russians and no indictment for obstruction.
Then we heard from Mueller before two congressional committees and we all know that didn’t go well.
Now here we all, with my innocence investigated.
And still certain members of congress continue to insist on more investigation. They refuse to work with me on most legislative causes. And goodness knows they’ve called me a racist, let me see, (at this point he looks at some papers and appears to be counting) 8 million, seven hundred and fifty thousand, nine hundred and sixty eight.
Evidently if you call someone a name enough, it, boom, becomes the truth.
I am asking you citizens that if you don’t like me and don’t want, VOTE ME OUT in a year and a half.
I am also asking you citizens to write or call your congress person, federal, state and local, and ask them to leave Trump alone so WE THE PEOPLE can decide what to do with him in the next election.

I shall stop now because I’m not in a speech writing mood. I hope that my intent is obvious to yon reader.
Presidents have for a long time taken to addressing the American people one on one, so to speak.
I think it’s time for President Trump to consider such an action.

ROCKET LAUNCHER FOUND IN BALTIMORE
Now the headline as written was disconcerting. First, the country’s been in great discussion about Baltimore and now we have rocket launchers?
Upon further reading the article from the NY Post, it is learned that TWO types of rocket military items had been found at BWI airport, both being taken home to keep as souvenirs.
The article states that a few other “keepsake” military items were discovered at BWI Airport. It began to be such a problem that the TSA had to remind passengers not to bring explosives or devices that shoot explosives on airplanes.
They have to “remind” passengers of this? Shouldn’t all those people wanding grandmothers and little babies FIND explosives and/or explosive devices?
You can’t make this stuff up, folks.

Military equipment was seized at Baltimore Washington International Airport on Thursday — the second such seizure in days — after it was brought back on a military flight by a US Air Force sergeant who kept it as a keepsake. The rocket launch tube was discovered around 5:20 a.m. in the American Airlines baggage area of the airport, located in Maryland, the Office of the State’s Fire Marshal’s Bomb Squad announced.

Why yes she is a Democrat. She is Delaware’s only Representative as Delaware is one of the few states that have more senators than representatives.
She is, in a fashion, a follow up to Mike Castle.
She says all investigation is done, time for her to introduce a resolution to impeach Trump.
I do not know a Delawarean one who wants Trump impeached.
