The only thing “cancelled” was the currently planned release dates. The movie itself was not “cancelled” and will likely be release in the future. If I was wealthy I’d buy it and release it in broad distribution in the month before the 2020 election. I’d also simultaneously release it to all the streaming services as well as simultaneously releasing and promoting DVDs and Blu-rays.

I thought even though the movie was about hunting ‘deplorables’, the ‘deplorables’ win. Seems a rather motivating movie to me.
Not true. The female protagonist apparently was one of the hunted, but during the movie it is pretty apparent she has pretty leftist views.
Plus, the movie trailer focused on the girl vs. girl stuff which is pretty SJW too.
It was a very bad idea that reinforces the view that the Left really hates the Right and would in fact use government and other powers to kill normal Americans.
Bad idea from an industry that continues to tow the lib line.
So in the end we Deplorables would not have liked the movie, you are saying.

Yes, the Deplorable is fighting back after some of her loved ones were killed, there’s one scene where she takes a license plate off revealing that the underlying plate was in a foreign country. Even if it is a movie about revenge against nasty elites, the underlying premise is really uncomfortable for all powers that be. The Elite honeydew ants don’t want anything to happen to their system of tapping us everyday aphids for their daily “sugarly sap”. The movie is accidentally 2nd amendment...the general populace, able to be armed forms the ultimate deterrent against elite and governmental over reach. The elites don’t want their schemes exposed and they don’t want armed deplorables coming after them when things go south.

I think it should be released asap. Regardless of who wins in the end it will energize we Deplorable’s. Actually, maybe about a month before the election would be better.
