The big sewage treatment plant is right across the street from the Altgeld Gardens housing project, where a young Barack Obama one worked as a community organizer. There is some open land around there, or some land that could be cleared, and the library there would tie into some real Obama history.

63rd and Stoney Island. The EL is there and a little used park. It is also where at age 15 I was almost killed for being white and at 18 bought a ‘69 Sportster from a kind black man.

How about ten miles out on the bottom of Lake Michigan?

I think one has to be a selfish, arrogant, egomaniac to think the scarce open spaces and park areas of a major city should be used for a presidential library. Those things are more appropriate for a university campus with room for reasonable new construction.

Obama is a thoughtless jerk for even considering such a site in Chicago.

It’s hilarious that Zero is having such a hard time doing this. Left is eating their own.

Did you go to Mt. Carmel? It’s about three blocks from there. I went there.

How about locating it closer to the Obamas new retirement compound in Hawaii? Like maybe a hundred miles west of Waimea?
