(CNN) CNN will host a Democratic presidential town hall in September focused on the climate crisis.
The event will take place on Wednesday, September 4, in New York City. CNN is inviting candidates who meet the Democratic National Committee's polling threshold for the September primary debate to participate, meaning they've reached at least 2% in four approved polls by August 28.
Eight candidates so far have met the polling threshold: former Vice President Joe Biden, New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker, South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg, California Sen. Kamala Harris, Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar, former Rep. Beto O'Rourke, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders and Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren.

A massive amount of ignorance will be on display, from the candidates, and the moderators too.
And all of the questions will have a political bias in them, and the answers will be politically based too.
IOW, nothing of value to see there, and all will be forgotten by the next week.
And, why CNN? I guess credibility doesn’t matter at all, so, if anybody watches, better be skeptical from beginning to end.
What’s to debate? All will agree that global warming is a major crisis. All will agree that orange man is bad and on the wrong side of history and all that.
The only discussion points will be how extreme to the left that the candidates will go, in what extreme actions they propose to deal with global warming.
The DNC was smart enough not to do this. I’m delighted CNN is dumb enough to make it happen. It will play well only to hardcore climate hysterics and will turn off normal people.
Either way, the radicals will think the DNC gave in, offloading the job to CNN, and therefore do more of this kamikaze stuff.

The only discussion points will be:
1. When do the Dems enact legislation making it unlawful to heat your house above 62F in the winter or cool it below 87F in the summer
2. How many jet flights you will be allowed per year
3. How fast can we tax Americans lebenty seben zillion dollars to “fix” the crisis.
I didn’t think they’d do this because what they say is gonna bite them in the generals.
They will be out extreming each other. I made up a word :)
Someone should ask if they believe in the volunteer human extinction movement. I doubt any would be that extreme but you never know.
Looking forward to the debate. I have sooooo much to learn about the Green New Deal.
For example, I am anxious to find out how fast we can get rid of those 270,000,000 or so dirty combustion engine vehicles and replace them with really clean cars and trucks that can run on wind and solar power.
It will be hours of greener-than-thou can-you-top-this.

Who the heck, other than that self-entitled jerk, keeps their house that warm? I set my heat to about 74-76 daytime and 64 at night.
