Mark Levin is a Ted Cruz guy. That’s fine. The problem was that Levin continued to go after President Trump, when he was clearly the nominee for the Republican ticket. I stopped listening to Levin during that time and I really don’t listen to him now..I knew back in July of 2015, that President Trump was going to be elected and fully supported him. Have some convictions and at least support the candidate in your party.
Cruz and Levin are rock solid intellectual conservatives.
I am glad Donald Trump is President.
I still believe and I am stunned at how some on this site pretend it is not a conservative politics site but rather a Donald Trump site.
It should be absolutely ok to urge President Trump to adhere to conservative principles.
The idea that 2015 or even 2016 primary rhetoric about Cruz is a legitimate basis for saying that Levin or Cruz are not conservative or not consistent with the values of this listserve does not make sense.
If Trump does something that is not conservative it ought to be possible to criticize that without eliciting the reactionary view that the President absolutely embodies the limits of what conservatism is. I know for certain that Bush was never allowed to be the absolute limits of that definition.
Levin and Cruz are excellent conservatives and they not only know what conservatism is but they are two of its most important intellectual leaders— making applications to the day to day circumstances that the President follows.

I couldn’t agree more. I also used to listen to Levin back in 2012. His attitude towards Romney in the general election was completely different from his attitude towards Trump, and that, probably more than anything else, is why I’ve lost any of the respect I once had for him. After seeing how he easily he put ego ahead of principles, I’ll never be able to view him as a reliable ally again.
I was listening to Levin after his dad passed. His dad like Trump and wanted to know what exactly his son had against him.
