I hope Flynn walks and SUE’S some people.
Liu was actually interviewed by Trump and is one of his nominees.
Think she has spent the last two years trying to ingratiate herself with the embedded corruptocrats in DC and now has become one of them.
She should be fired. Promptly.
The Senate approved her by voice vote - which means she had overwhelming support from the Democrat Party.
In March 2019, Trump said he would nominate Liu for Associate AG, the third ranking job at DOJ.
A few weeks later, Liu withdrew her name for that job.
Any future conservative Presidential candidate should declare: “On day one of my new administration, I am firing the entire HQ and leadership level of the DOJ and FBI.”
Why? because they have proven themselves to be biased political operators, who can’t be trusted to accept the result of a valid election. There may be decent people there, but there is no way to know.
Isn’t Jessie Liu the one who President Trump nominated for the number 3 job at the DoJ?
Does he know something that Jim Hoft doesn’t?
Or, is Trump clueless about the people he hires?
Now it looks like Liu is involved in the McCabe case and will determine whether to bring charges against former corrupt FBI Director Andy McCabe.
If Liu is involved it is doubtful that McCabe will be indicted for any of his many crimes
Hoft isn't really a reporter and Gateway Pundit isn't really a news operation. It's a click-bait site, that preys on conservatives.
Anyone with even the most casual interest in the story of Andy McCabe, which Hoft has doubtless written hundred of click-bait traps over, knows that McCabe was referred for possible prosecution by OIG Horowitz in June 2018. And, subsequently we found out that it was the D.C. US Attorney who was doing the investigating.
Where was Jim Hoft when all this reporting (by more legit outlets) was being done? He's just figuring out what many of us have known for a year.
Speaking of a year, if Liu was just going to bury this without even considering the evidence, then she probably would have closed it out sometime in the last year. I'm quite pleased that it's still an open investigation at this point.
Also, let's not forget who Liu was working for a year ago. U.S. Attorney's report into the Deputy Director (at the time Rod Rosenstein) who reported to Sessions.
So, you had Trump's original do-nothing team supervising her. Perhaps it was a bit of stubborness on her part to refuse to close the case and wait for more supportive management to replace those guys.
(I'm assuming your not of the "Trust Sessions" team, but they are still out there, so for them this possibility doesn't make a lot of sense).
Bill Barr appointed her as Chairwoman of AGAC on March 28, 2019; he lauded her as an “outstanding” and “respected” attorney.
(No, I do not trust ex-CIA Ruby Ridge Bill Barr.)
