I have no idea if this is related but this morning I visited a local Walmart. As I passed the knife display something caught my attention.
Several different knives which I think could be described as fighting knives were on clearance. The discount was between 90% and 75%, most being closer to 90.
I have not had a Spyderco since around 1995 when I literally found an engraved one. I ended up buying, I think 12. They were Ruger, Spyderco, and SOG. When I got home and looked them over, I was disappointed to discover that every single one of them was made in China.
Despite that, they do seem like pretty decent knives. One of the Spyderco’s is pretty large, a bit larger than the engraved one I had. I do like the design of the Ruger’s. I can already open them in a flash.
Several were $5 and the most expensive one was the largest Spyderco at $13.
Pretty in your face move by walmart linking the ammo sales ban directly to El Paso, etc.
This is a war for the soul of our country and only one side is fighting, sadly. This progressive-corportist alliance will be the death of this country if not stopped.
Wal-Mart is the same as Target now except Wal-Mart has fewer cute girls shopping there.

By the way, I suspect that a bipartisan sneak attack against our Second Amendment is about to be perpetrated by Congress, and they’re trying hard to groom or brainwash President Trump to sign their legislation.
Contact your senators and representatives. Write to publications that the President’s men might see. Do it now. It’s time.
And support the NRA. Don’t be fooled by the mobys and their propaganda campaign in conservative forums.

There is no inherent violent meaning or intent.
Everyone should write to wallyworld now and tell them they have to stop selling knives as there have been over 43,000 knife attack in the UK this yr. Also quit selling booze as so many killed by drunk drivers. Quit selling phones as so many accidents by people who talk/text while driving. Car parts were mentioned above.
Stop selling produce from Mexico as the chemicals they use causing too much cancer. Carb foods are making people fat and giving them diabetes and heart attacks. Eliminate the parking lots as several times a day people driving to a wallyworld are having car accidents. Excessive perfumes are causing too many babies resulting in global warming.
What did I miss?

Woolworths, Sears, Wards, K-mart all used to sell guns. Now they are closed down as no one shops there. Only Target and J. C. Penneys, which used to sell guns, are still open in our area. No guns.
Same for OTASCO (Oklahoma Tire and Supply store), TG&Y, Firestone. Even our local ACE no longer sells guns or ammo.
In the olden days before the Libs came to power, you could buy guns and ammo at hardware stores, clothing stores, saddle shops, sporting goods stores, gas stations, grocery stores. Crime rate was way lower back then. No more.
I guess I will have to make the trek to Cabelas, 25 miles away.
I wonder what Sam Walton would think about the CEO of his company. Kind of like Walt Disney.
In the late 60s I ordered an FN model-49 in 7mm Mauser from J. C. Penney. It was a beautifully made rifle and must have cost a fortune to make. It was in used, but excellent condition.

Sorry but I do not care if they ever sell ammo and guns. Wal mart is pretty good for fishing supplies.... Too many other places with better deals anyway. (Not that i have any guns to put ammo in)

The company also grants special treatment to homoactivists, and while pretending to have an anti-drug-abuse policy, does *not* drug test new hires.
