Walmart is also asking customers at Walmart and Sam’s Club to no longer openly carry firearms in stores,
in states where “open carry” is allowed, unless they are authorized law enforcement officers.

How about CONCEALED?

I've told many guys 'carrying' at Walmart that I want to be near THEM if anything bad starts to happen!

No problem Walmart; as Gander Outdoors is a mere 1,400 feet north of your location here.

That’s pretty far from me as i’m on staten island but luckily I pretty much order everything online which makes it much easier to order from conservative friendly stores :)

From the copy of the Walmart CEO's memo in comment #8:
"As it relates to concealed carry by customers with permits, there is no change to our policy or approach."

I'll take that to include customers without permits in constitutional carry states. Extra training and insurance are advisable, though. The costs aren't bad for the extra knowledge and legal protection.

Seems that Walmart is loudly announcing its stores as gun free replacement killing zones to replace schools that are training teachers to carry. I dont shop Target because they enable perverts, now I have to skip Wallmarts out of situational awareness.

If they dont want to sell something, fine, but going loudly gun free when the Democrats are calling for violence against deplorable Walmart shoppers is just STUPID!

Walmart is not going “gun free”. They are only asking that people not open carry. Their new policy is that concealed carry is fine.

I don't agree with their decisions about not selling certain types of ammo. But let's not accuse them of things that are not true.

Good enough. Open carry is stupid anyway, it freaks out the sheeple and alerts the wolves.

“Just like Dick’s!! Avoid them at all costs..”

I usually shop at a Walmart near me two or three times per week.Luckily, a new CostCo opened a few weeks ago not so far from my house. They’ll get my business now.

You won’t find any ammo at Target, that’s for sure. I don’t think they even sell BB guns.

Calif just started background checks for ammo.”””

You are limited to how much you can buy on each purchase, and you have to pay for another background check every time you try to buy ammo in Calif now.

= = =

Oh?

An associate just purchased 2800 rounds at one transaction.

I guess I might by limited by how much I could afford, or how much they had on hand, but just what are these limits you reference?
