we know the company eavesdrops on people in their own homes. we know the machine orders things without the people’s approval, from commercials, etc.
so why does any sane person own one of these machines?

I asked Siri if she was self-aware last night. She said “I think so.” That’s an “I think therefore I am” kind of answer. Just about knocked me out of my chair.
Siri is not an actual woman. One shouldn’t blame Apple for not speaking about something. There’s a tyrannical insidiousness to that concept. And it also seems like one of the main purposes of the press is to make women angry.
So it isn’t AI. It’s a set of programmed responses.
