When I hunted - I gave it up because honestly I'm terrible at it - I preferred a composite stock to wood. Hunting we would be out in all kinds of weather. I realize properly cared for wood is fine but composite is easier. Now I do have several family heirlooms, meticulously cared for and a only taken to the range on sunny, cloudless days.

The fundamental problem in the "gun control" debate is a stunning, truly breathtaking lack of knowledge displayed by people who still somehow feel qualified to weigh in on various issues. Perhaps the real issue is they have heard a little bit of misinformation from MSM or friends (who got it there) and they think they know more than they actually do, virtually everything they do know is wrong, and they have no clue as to how much they don't know. But they'll put their ignorance on display...
