Stand your ground in GA means you have no duty to retreat if you are engaged in a lawful activity. Castle Doctrine here in GA means you can protect your home. Either likely can be used in this case for the late brothers and their friend.
Bad guys shot and citizens armed citizen returned fire and won. Basic self defense!
Guilty of not reading this article which says it all took place in the yard.

assuming all of the above is actually true, then it looks like a cut and dried case of self-defense to me ...
An article I read said the homeowner was a truck driver. He could’ve been leaving for work. Lots of truck drivers work early hours. Also, two of the deceased robbers were brothers.
If only Beto had taken his AR 15, those teens would still be alive.
