Is this a serious question? Iran is responsible for the deaths of more Americans since the 70’s than any other country. That rogue nation is responsible for American deaths for decades.
This incident did not attack us or our people but, as Levin states if nothing is done after this their belligerence will only grow.
The head in the sand no military action unless our homeland is threatened is just as stupid as W’s nation building.
Oil is a worldwide commodity. Extreme price volatility affects every nation. Every industry. Every family and person on earth.
To allow Iran to affect this worldwide commodity without any response is a sign of pathetic weakness and shortsightedness.
There will be a retaliation for their actions whether you or Rand Paul like it or not. It has been a long time coming and retaliation is needed and should be devastating.

How many of the American deaths you cite at Iran’s hands were solely the result of U.S. meddling in places all over the globe? Even Reagan bailed out of Lebanon when the sh!t hit the fan there ... because he knew there was no upside to that disaster.

Americans were popular in Iran until CIA dislodged Musadegh.

Oh crp, you sound so knowledgeable:

“To allow Iran to affect this worldwide commodity without any response is a sign of pathetic weakness and shortsightedness.”

So let Saudi Arabia do something. Get on the phone with them and get them to do what you want. Get back to us with what the ambassador says they will do.

We weren’t a part of this, so we have nothing to do. Besides, the US can be happy when Saudi Arabia is crippled because we make more money from oil when our competition is hurt.

Oh, and since you think the “world” is affected, be sure to contact all the other countries across the world to have them do what you want, too.

Do you have any idea of the MASSIVE volume of arms we have sold to the Saudis?
Can't they read the manuals and use them against Iran themselves?
If Iran blocks the Strait of Hormuz, that's a different matter.
