I disagree. Back then, they were more UNIFORMLY informed. They had one source for the information and while it was part lie/part truth, they were united behind it. The media was free to use the news as a way to control the public and were rarely ever questioned about such use.
We have the ability to be much more CORRECTLY informed today due to the internet, but many don't use it. I have people who have a cellphone in their pocket ask me what time it is. The internet is a valuable resource, but it all depends on how or if you use it.
Dont you just love that? When somebody LOOKING at a cell phone asks you what time it is?
An astute observation and relevant to ALL political aspirants. Sit down, shut up and convincingly try to express the material the handlers and shapers have put before you.
Nah, Michelle. Hillary is a three time loser. And with the Epstein crap, the Steele Dossier, DOJ investigation, etc. to much potential baggage and questions to answer. But Michelle is available. She is still touted as the most popular woman in America, is doing a book tour, TV spots and magazine covers. I’m putting my money on Michelle at the convention. The candidate best suited “To bring the party together and heal the soul of a nation ripped asunder by the divisive policy of Donald Trump”. The media would run with that as the second coming of the Lord Jesus himself.
People like Hillary LESS now than they did when she ran - she wouldn’t even get the popular vote this time around.
Hillary has Warrens bad points - the black community isn’t thrilled with shrill old white women and few white people trust either woman. Then Hillary lacks Warren’s drive. Warren’s attempting to win - Hillary’s wants to be crowned... Hillary won’t be stepping in...
Since the Norse got to North America before Columbus, and because the native populations did not have a common name for themselves, maybe we need to junk "Indians" in favor of the Norse term for them. I think it meant something like "screamers." (The Norse and the natives of Newfoundland did not get along.)
Ding, ding, ding - we have a thread winnah!
Of course he did turn Newark into a garden spot. I don't know why Newark wasn't rated #1 in Money magazine's list of the best places to live in the United States.
