I was surprised at the large crowd Warren attracted. She has faults that even lefties should find a turn-off: her lies, failure to answer questions, pretending to be an Indian, etc.

She isn’t likeable.
She’s a crook, and having anything to do with her at all now subjects the person involved to relentless justified accusations of participating in a scheme to steal benefits from indigenous tribes.

But there are so many people who invested money and influence in buiding her career over the decades. They still hope to get a return on their investment.

The democrat party, as it was, is finished, they just aren’t fully aware of it. What will rise from the ashes appears to be pure fascism or totalitarianism. The GOP is feeling some growing pains as well. You will have RINOS and letter people vs the Deplorable normals. The letter people will kill the RINOS for not being sufficiently woke. After that it gets easier.

If she gets the nomination her voice might make me jump out the window long before the general election. I call it the insincere schoolmarm story time voice. On the other hand I can’t see her turning out the minority vote for the dems.

They’re already transmogrifing her into Hillary.

Warren is the most strident in demanding that bankers and CEO’s be subjected to televised public floggings in Yankee Stadium.

That alone is enough to buy her a lot of street cred with the Left.

Booker can’t win.

He admitted he touched a girls breast against her will when he was a teenager.

Do you think Clinton Crime Inc. (CCI) might have funded, or at least provided significant encouragement to a number of these "also ran" campaigns just to stir the pot, cause chaos?

As others have said, Clinton wouldn't make it through a full campaign, she barely made it through the last one, another full campaign might kill her. (but of course that won't stop the Clinton's insane lust for power) So would their strategy be to ensure there were enough fools running to divide the field, feed off each other, even reveal the worst, most radical elements of the party...then have her swoop in on her broom at the end looking like an electable moderate...???

I wouldn't put anything - anything - past CCI.

Well if Podesta hadn’t thought of it I’m sure the Shareblue Stalwarts who monitor FReeRepublic will let them know.

It has been my thought for some time, with no basis except a gut feeling, that the convention will have 4 or 5 ballots with no winner.

On the next ballot, the 5th or 6th, Hillary will be put forward and will win.

Certainty yields a better feeling than anxiety and uncertainty and so she will win.

I think I am influenced by a visit to the home of President James K Polk. The graduate student giving the two person tour advised that the convention got hung up and out of the blue, Polk was nominated and won.

(A visit to Polk’s Columbia Tennessee home is perhaps not worth the effort unless perhaps you are visiting President’s homes and thus Polk is on the list to be checked off)

We tend to think history before the internet is irrelevant but you could make a pretty good argument that all the internet has accomplished in regard to informing voters is make them stupid. 100 years ago when you had to read a paper to be informed people IMHO were MUCH better informed.

1OldPro, a very astute observer, thinks that Elizabeth Warren is the next candidate who will take the lead.

I agree with this message. It’s Warren and someone with foreign policy gravitas even if he was failure, like a Bill Richardson.

"...and then Hillary stepped in to save the day!" You know it’s out there.
It's coming as surely as dawn. She and her people know she can't do a full campaign.
But if she "steps in at the last minute..." she doesn't have to.
I'm not saying it will work but you just know it's coming.

I'd agree totally with your total statement.

The Dimms will pull the ol' "bait & switch" out of their bag of dirty tricks at the last minute.

It WON'T WORK. WHY? Trump would CRUSH Hillary worse the second time than anyone thought possible.

If the scenario you suggested does play out with Trump crushing Hillary in the election the Dimms will be left LOST and wandering in the political desert for decades to come.

Maybe Pocahontas can put together a campaign ad where her former students at Harvard Law School talk about how they benefited from hearing the American Indian perspective from her.

The irony is that Warren is doing better than the real Indian in the race—Kamala Harris. Of course Kamala is the other kind of Indian.

I thought #FusionCollusion would be the Watergate 2.0 that would leave the Rats wandering in the Desert for 40 years. Turns out with the Brown SHirt Media, Deep State, and Education at their back it was hardly a burp. With the assets the Rats have in their pocket it’s gonna take heavy artillery to dislodge them.

I certainly benefited from reading Lizzie's contributions to Pow Wow Chow. Authentic Cherokee cuisine!
