Rep. Andy Biggs, the Arizona Republican who was elected this month to take the reins of the group of sometimes defiant hard-liners, said its members are not afraid to buck Mr. Trump as they did in opposing his attempt to repeal Obamacare in 2017.

Our side needs both purists and pragmatists, don’t take the bait and allow demands for conformity to divide us.
the New Freedom Caucus needs to buy a clue. Trump 2020 and that’s the end of the discussion. Period.
What a STUPID thi g to say.
These are conservatives? I remember they fought Trump over this, though.
as they did in opposing his attempt to repeal Obamacare in 2017.
another enemy of the people
Biggs is married to Cindy Biggs.[30] He is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.[39][40]

It figures MORMAN
Thats why the GOP got its ass kicked in the 2018 midterms. A lot of voters simply recognized that the Republicans in Congress had been nothing more than grandstanding dopes who never had any intention of overturning ObamaCare all along.
You are 100% correct imo
Looks like your guess is correct. see post 66
Please dont kill the orezs gun control package.. it’s for the children.
It looks like the Freedom Caucus ain’t what it once was since they elected this new head. Biggs is a phony.
“Criminals but with better impulse control.”
Yes, most definitely.
Well, I just heard him speak in AZ and he didn’t utter one single non-Trump syllable.
I think some of these people, whether they’ve read my article or not, are beginning to see that the House has become irrelevant.

He has an agenda. Why even come out and state this crap? What did it accomplish? Why did he feel compelled to comment? Because he has an agenda.
>>Puts up with? He’s not a king.

I didn’t say or imply that he was king. I said I don’t know how he puts up with them. He is always there, day after day, ready to keep meet, work, negotiate, etc. with them. It is this quality of persistence to which I was referring. He gets it from all sides.
I have found that what initially seems like some “bad” ideas, often turns out to be part of his longer strategy. Not always, but sometimes.
I find the very fact that Biggs made the statement to be unhelpful, and I am entitled to MY opinion.
I know. That’s what is sad about the FC chair’s comment.
I don’t care what names you call me, Svartalfiar. I care about Freedom Caucus members (and all other Congressional patriots, if there are any) getting 100% behind our President. Our nation and President need all the help it and he can get.
Why don’t you guys go back and look at YOUR posts from that time frame. I bet y’all didn’t support the Ryan bill either. The bill they blocked only repealed a few small parts of Obamacare, keeping most of it and was a terrible option.
You idiots are thinking of the actual repeal bill, that the Freedom Caucus supported, which was stopped by the Dems and McCain, the traitor.
The Freedom Caucus also supported Paul Ryan. How did that work out for us? You need to accept the fact that the “Freedom Caucus” is controlled opposition to the progressive corportist GOPe and nothing more.
