I believe I was about 8 years old.
I did not have the knowledge and skill and information to understand how much I was being lied to until at least 20 years later.

In my 20's. Certainly by the time I became a dad at 26. I know Millenials pushing 35 who have not arrived at that point. The clock is running out.
