Lost amid the coverage of teen activist Greta Thunberg at last week’s U.N. Global Climate Summit were 500 international scientists sounding a different message: “There is no climate emergency.”
The European Climate Declaration, spearheaded by the Amsterdam-based Climate Intelligence Foundation, described the leading climate models as “unfit,” urging UN Secretary-General Guterres to pursue a climate policy based on “sound science.”
“Current climate policies pointlessly and grievously undermine the economic system, putting lives at risk in countries denied access to affordable, reliable electrical energy,” said the letter.signed by professionals from 23 countries.
“We urge you to follow a climate policy based on sound science, realistic economics and genuine concern for those harmed by costly but unnecessary attempts at mitigation,” the letter said.
The signers asked Mr. Guterres to place the declaration on the UN’s agenda for the meeting ending Monday—which hasn’t happened—and organize a meeting of scientists “on both sides of the climate debate.”
The declaration was dismissed by Penn State climatologist Michael Mann, who called it “craven and stupid.” The [U.K.] Guardian said the document “repeats well-worn and long-debunked talking points on climate change that are contradicted by scientific institutions and academies around the world.”
The sheer number of prominent signers with scientific and engineering credentials belied the contention that only a handful of fringe researchers and fossil-fuel shills oppose the climate-catastrophe “consensus.”
The declaration made six points:

· “Warming is far slower than predicted”
· “Climate policy relies on inadequate models”
· Carbon dioxide is “plant food, the basis of all life on Earth”
· “Global warming has not increased natural disasters”
· “Climate policy must respect scientific and economic realities”

No climate cultist dares mention the sun - that burning ball of nuclear fusion, which accounts for 99.8% of the mass of the solar system. Without it, the earth would have NO climate whatsoever. Any slight change in it, will have very great changes on earth.

If they acknowledge the sun has the most massive amount of determination in our climate, which it does, then they cant push their spcialist agenda to take stuff away from people and control us the way they want to.
Seems to me the height of arrogance to assume we can, or cannot, control climate. We are stewards, nothing more, nothing less.

Global Warmers are so stupid! They don't understand this very important fact. Plants need CO2. Reduce it and plants starve, and so do we. Mostly because of this fact, I hate Global Warmers and their stupidity. So stupid!
I was in an argument with one of these Commie doofus’ recently who had CO and CO2 in his head as the same thing EXCEPT Co2 was twice as deadly.
Now that there is funny! CO2 being twice as deadly, idiotic. Tell that commie doofus to stop drinking beer, as CO2 is often used by bartenders to fill beer glasses. Also to beware of dry ice in ice chests at picnics, so deadly! Not to mention, most fizzy carbonated drinks.

500 international scientist and experts ? So what. How can they possible match the wisdom from a single developally challenged and emotionally challenged teenager. Have you not heard her cry ? Do you not know she rode a Carbon Nuetral Viking Ship to conquer the UN ?
