“The declaration was dismissed by Penn State climatologist Michael Mann”

Why isn’t this POS in jail? The grandfather of climate change hysteria is a proven fraud. Most recently losing a liable court case because he refused to provide the back ground data the produced his “hockey stick’ graph. The graph which made Al Whore a very rich man.

Not to mention that the number one producer of carbon dioxide is the oceans.

So when you see a raving lunatic environMENTAList, hand ‘em a plastic straw, and in your best Duke Nukem voice tell them to...

“Suck it down!”

REPENT!
THE END OF THE WORLD IS NIGH!

(We thought it was Y2K; then we thought it was that Aztec prophesy; but now it's global warming...er...uh...global cooling...uh...I mean......climate change.)

Not to mention that the number one producer of carbon dioxide is the oceans.

True in some locations and seasons, and true in the past. Now oceans are a net consumer of CO2. That's pretty clear from the drop in average pH: http://www.biogeosciences.net/12/1223/2015/ That drop is from one location but representative. Also if the oceans were the source of the current rise in atmospheric CO2 (280 to 410 ppm) they would have had to warm at least 13C (and probably more) in the past 1000 years. That did not happen. The current atmospheric rise is 2.5 ppm per year. It's impossible for that CO2 to be coming from warming oceans.

There are other possibilities, the oceans biology could be changing and producing more CO2. There could an increase in underwater volcanoes. But those theories require supporting data which I have not seen.

The sun is of course in every climate model. They sometimes add in some changes like the change in solar irradiation over the solar cycle.

What is missing is the change in solar spectrum and its effect on weather. Mike Lockwood did good work on that https://royalsocietypublishing.org/doi/full/10.1098/rspa.2009.0519 The basic theory is that low solar energy causes weather changes and some of those are cooling. High solar activity causes other weather changes which can include warming. Lockwood is crystal clear that those are not an alternative explanation for manmade warming.

Most consensus science like this https://www.nature.com/articles/ncomms8535 is that solar activity reductions which may occur in the near future (and are occuring now) could offset manmade warming, but only in some locations.

My view which is somewhat beyond the consensus is that the effect of reduced solar activity on our weather is poorly understood in most of the world and could in fact result in more cooling than expected. The solar / weather induced cooling could offset part or all of manmade warming for a few decades. Of course that possibility has occured to some of the alarmist scientists which is why they are pushing the "climate change" hoax. First, they can blame weather changes on manmade warming instead of solar. More importantly they can instill a fear of ordinary weather in the population even though weather accounts for trivial and diminishing amounts of economic damage.

Just look at what the tiny moon does to our oceans - tides. Now think about planets moving closer, then further away, aligning certain ways and then things that come near once every several dozen years etc. For all we know, the solar system could have a 500 year pattern in how it affects the earth.

Yup, then there’s the sun with it’s moodiness that can cool off for a while and once in a while, decides to blow up telegraph lines and stations.

BUT IT’S COW FARTS AND CARS

we all just need cow fart powered vehicles
