Joshua Brown, a neighbor of Guyger and Botham Jean, the man she was convicted of killing late last year at the South Side Flats apartment complex, was gunned down around 10:30 p.m, the Dallas Morning News reports. Police confirmed that a fatal shooting took place around that time in the same location described by the Morning News but stopped short of identifying the victim as Brown.

Yeah what’s this neighborhood like?

Even so, it’s a toss up testifying against the Gambinos or a cop

I’ll bet it is unrelated to Amber’s shooting case.

Well, that solves that. If a white man wants to have sex with her, she can’t ever have done anything wrong ... until a white man decides she did everything wrong.

Yeah what’s this neighborhood like? It’s primarily Amish American just north of the gentrifying Gayborhood of Cedar Sorings. Right by Love Field Airport. Plenty of bus stops. Good street tacos at most gas stations. Just down the street from one of the red light districts.

No wonder Amber was wound so tight coming home in that neighborhood. Who wouldn’t be? Especially a small female cop just getting off shift.

I personally think she screwed up but for there to be a crime I thought their had to be intent to commit a crime so she was screwed by the court system. I could see some kind of punishment and a reprimand in her police file but then again she wasn’t on duty at the time. Just a bad thing all around.

Neighborhood adjacent to the Red Light District (ie. Prostitutes), Lot’s of Bus Stops (ie, poor / slums), Gentrifying Gayborhood (ie, slum homes being bought for dirt cheap by Fags and remodeled).

In other words, an area to be avoided.

Then it DOESN’T sound like the most shocking neighborhood for a murder to happen.

I thought their had to be intent to commit a crime

When your actions are reckless, or devoid of concern for others that is sufficient to establish criminality.

Sadly Ms. Guyger's actions, regardless of her motivations, were utterly reckless. Shooting somebody sitting on their sofa because you went into their apartment thinking it was yours is definitely an example of an action which in and of itself establishes criminality.

It’s far from Love Field but close to Alamo Drafthouse Cedars, which I used to feel safe going to. In daytime, I volunteer at a place about four blocks from that apartment complex. Sad that Cedars was once the Beverly Hills of Dallas 100 years ago but is now filled with vagrants. New lofts and townhomes are going up in the area for extremely brave (or foolish) urban pioneers.
