I support my President, and will going forward, but he should have never, ever chosen ANYONE from within government for ANY position. Only the dumbest and most narcissistic morons persist in government.
Between the election and the inauguration, a website was set up to collect contact information from people who wanted to work in a Trump-led administration. Someone, I believe it was Rience Priebus, took down the site and deleted all of the information.
Why, thank you. I’ve spent a good portion of my life working for the government. As I prepare to retire from the Army, I am considering going back to work for the government if my other plans don’t work out.
People who work in government are not universally corrupt. In fact, the peons (like me) are subject to very strict ethics rules. Politicians impose them on us to balance the bad karma they incur with their bad behavior.

Trump should have had a transition game plan which replaced ALL White House staff and ALL Fed Agency managers with outsider loyalists from at least 300 miles outside the Beltway.
I suspect he will correct this mistake on 1/21/2021.
