Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) on Wednesday said he will send a letter to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) indicating that Senate Republicans will not impeach President Trump over a phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, saying “she can stop now.”

Speaking to Fox News, Graham, who is the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, said he will ask other Senate Republicans to sign a letter to Pelosi that said they “do not believe the transcript of the phone call between the president and Ukraine is an impeachable offense.”

“They’re about to destroy the nation for no good reason,” Graham said. “And I want Nancy Pelosi to know that Republican senators are not going to impeach this president based on this transcript, so she can stop now before she destroys the country.”

We’re not talking about that issue. I agree with you. But when Graham supports Trump, we need to encourage him and not say nah, he disagrees with me or with Trump on this one issue, therefore his support is no good.

I’m not saying he’s good on everything or even on most things. But when he supports Trump, I think we have to be positive about it. People do change their minds, but not if you reject them right out of hand.

We would not have Kavanaugh without Graham. At least he has spoken in support of most of Trump’s positions unlike his cowardly colleagues.

We will not have a country if he gets his way on amnesty.

Why haven’t democrats listed the actual crime. Then backed up there claim by citing a section of the law that was broken.

Why? Because there is no crime. Therefore per the constitution then there can be no impeachment.

Then you go ahead and support the Democrat running against him. Guess that person is a better alternative. How about we support those at least fighting a little for us rather than undermining them.

We need Trump for another term AND a Republican Senate. Look how great we have it with a Democrat Party House.

No, Democrats are never the answer, even when they are wearing R jerseys.
Primary the amnesty weasels out and replace them with people who won’t vote to give the Democrats a permanent majority. Grahamnesty has done that THREE times, we should not give him the opportunity to try for four.

Was living there same timeframe as you. After his election, I read the “Art of the Deal” which filled me in on what he was actually doing during the 80’s, early 90’s. A walk down memory lane. Trump reminds me of men from his fathers’ era. His thinking was influenced by them along with his longtime association with anti-Communist attorney Roy Cohn. I see his Scottish mother’s influence on him, as well.

I agree with you about not agreeing all the time with his choices; for me the abortion issue is a surprise change in his thinking, but the big picture is that he gave us a fighting chance/buying more time to save the Republic from the tyranny which will descend with the next Democrat President.
