PENTAGON – A member of U.S. Special Forces serving alongside the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in Syria told Fox News on Wednesday they were witnessing Turkish atrocities on the frontlines.

“I am ashamed for the first time in my career,” said the distraught soldier, who has been involved in the training of indigenous forces on multiple continents. The hardened service member is among the 1,000 or so U.S. troops who remain in Syria.

“Turkey is not doing what it agreed to. It’s horrible,” the military source on the ground said. “We met every single security agreement. The Kurds met every single agreement [with the Turks]. There was no threat to the Turks -- none -- from this side of the border."

Unless you want to take on Turkey, Iraq, Iran and Syria to carve out a country for the Kurds, there’s no reason for us to remain there.

**************

For some there is one good reason to stay there: profits.

Sure, Big Media didn’t make this DIRECTLY related to politics. Let’s believe ‘em this time.

Trump is doing exactly what he promised. I can find dozens of countries where similar atrocities are occurring hourly. If we have to “do the right humanitarian thing” here, why not elsewhere. Add another $25 trillion to the yearly pentagon budget and bring back the draft. Then all of these democrats and neo cons will be happy. I say let them buy a rifle and plane ticket to Damascus. Let Trump’s critics put their asses where their mouths are.

Michelle Obama is in Special Forces?

‘I am ashamed for the first time in my career’

That’s her type of statement.

TOTAL FAKE NEWS.

They also are not a unified people. The Kurds are broken into various tribes ,clans and factions. This is mainly why they do not have a country. Remember we fought with these people . That does not make our friends or our responsibilities.

What is comical is that these guys are actually pretty smart. But they have blinders on regarding this.

I used this analogy with them regarding the house and trump and impeachment:

Schiff and the democrats are like the local sheriff that ran for mayor but lost. Trump is the guy that won. So the Sheriff is spending his entire shift following the new mayor around, and every time the mayor’s car deviates from a straight line in the lane he gets pulled over for DUI and given a sobriety test and a night in jail before being released the next morning - with a stiff warning that they are investigating his drinking habits and he’s “going down!”.

And I think that is how a lot of Americans see this.

The commentary on TV about abandoning our allies is preposterous

**************

If a Democrat pulled us out it would be hailed as a “courageous decision to extricate us from Middle East chaos that has already consumed far too much American blood and treasure”.

We all know how this game works.

We must consider that Turkey has a legitimate cause against the Kurds, who have been waging a separatist guerrilla war in Kurdish regions of Turkey - and then retreating into Kurdish regions of Syria, Iraq and Iran. Take a moment to look at a map of stateless “Kurdistan” and you’ll see an area that spans the border areas of four nations - all of whom are fighting Kurdish separatists. This is yet another Deep State trap to pull us into a war that is none of our business, and President Trump is wisely extricating us from it. President Trump has vowed to destroy Turkey’s economy if Erdogan goes too far, and this president keeps his word.

“Turkey’s Syria invasion: Member of US Special Forces says, ‘I am ashamed for the first time (tr)”

I guess he’s PROUD of the fact that our policies in the 1970s led DIRECTLY to the GENOCIDE of millions of Cambodians.

...or, more likely, he went to PUBLIC SCHOOL, where ‘inconvenient’ things like that are not discussed.

Two points:

1) It is not his place to discuss this in the media. Not good form.

2) With that said, I wonder what the reaction to his statement would have been if it had been under a Resident Obama leadership? In that, is the reaction towards the soldier’s alleged comments based on an objective view of such comments or is it due to a partisan view of such comments.

Those liberals you’re sparring with have permanent TDS. They’re automatically against everything PDJT wants.

**************

I respect cuban leaf for sparring with libs but you’re right, its largely an exercise in futility. I worked around tons of liberals; they are emotion driven creatures who don’t give a wit about facts, logic or the lessons of history.

They are simply not receptive to other points of view. They are ideological bulwarks with deep seated animosities towards conservatives in general, and an insane hatred of DJT. You can’t reason or have a constructive discussion with people like that.

We’ll never know because there is never an effort made to examine anyone’s bias. As long as the opinion supports the left’s agenda, the “news fits”.

“A name or fake news.”

ABSOLUTELY. I’m still trying to find the 17 ‘Intelligence Agencies’ which concluded that Trump COLLUDED with Russia.

If they don’t produce a name (and a photo), it is simply FAKE NEWS.

Was he one of the 50 removed from the region Trump removed them from?
