Glenn Davies, Anglican Archbishop of Sydney, has a message for people who disagree with him, and his diocese, about same sex blessings they should leave the church rather than fight.
My own view is that if people wish to change the doctrine of our Church, they should start a new church or join a church more aligned to their views but do not ruin the Anglican Church by abandoning the plain teaching of Scripture, he told his Synod (church parliament) in his final address to them.
Please leave us. We have far too much work to do in evangelising Australia to be distracted by the constant pressure to change our doctrine in order to satisfy the lusts and pleasures of the world.

The same thing should be said to all the “catholics” trying to queerify and bastardize the church and the first to go should be francis the pope socialista!
Someone in the American Episcopal Church should have said that about 40 years ago.
MCC, UCC....many options available.
Other churches want the popularity, therefore the donations, by catering to whatever the crowd wants. But “wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it”. The popular thing is very often the wrong one.
The Bible is clear such people should be expelled from the fellowship of believers. If you let them stay it is a cancer that will kill the church.
That there is a highway to hell and a stairway to heaven indicates the expected amount of traffic
The fact is once a church/denomination accepts homosexuality, it collapses. Practically it’s because homosexuality consumes the church and no one wants to be part of “all gay, all day.”
Spiritually it is because the Holy Spirit cannot be present where there is sexual immorality and impurity. When the Spirit leaves, the church dies.
Anglicans are a national Catholic church... a compromise between pure Protestanism and pure Catholicism.
An arrangement Henry VIII would have loved.
This is a great time for conservative churches in the area to advertise to that crowd of departing Anglicans.
In a free market, people who dont like church with a liberal theology can move to one with a conservative bent.
Religion is both a matter of values and personal taste.
When the world all around you is jumping on bandwagons and taking the easy parade route and you hold fast. When you suffer condemnation of man and go on along God’s path without bending, that is courage.
I John says that we show we love God by following His commandments.
Good for them.

Was afraid this was going to be an article about caving.
Thankfully this guy is spot on.
They did - over and over again. When “we” left, it was said, “What will this “church” look like once the sheriff’s have gone?”
We now know the answer.
What a pity . . .
They can join the Lutherans, they’re ordaining trannies now.
