Pay Americans for the job - it's usually the H-1Bs getting trained by the Americans they're replacing.
AMEN! I’ve been in our IT organization for 20 years. We have about 250 people in our department and up until about 8 years ago, I could count on one hand the number of Indians working there. Then we had a change in management. Next thing you know, our VP was Indian and began not only outsourcing things such as monitoring and tier 1 stuff to Mumbai, but then larger chunks of the operation started to have some “turn over” with replacements, almost always Indian. Our development department is almost entirely Indian now. As a Systems Admin who maintains all the finance apps, I have a VERY close relationship to the Finance folks (especially those with some weight), and I believe that’s what has saved me so far, but I fear it’s just a matter of time before I’m replaced with a guy named Rajesh..
Indians in a position to hire will hire people that look like them. They have a nepotistic streak as well. They are like an invasive species, and whole groups and divisions are Indian. I blame the corporations who are selling out America for their 30 pieces of silver. They worship the bottom line and care nothing about heritage Americans. There needs to be a multigenerational ban on all foreigners admitted to this country. You know that big tech and the CoC would pull out all the stops to block such legislation.
