The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) review into the origins of the Russian collusion hoax probe has reportedly prompted some CIA analysts in the crosshairs of investigators to lawyer up.

NBC News made the revelation on Monday, adding that DOJ “has found something significant” and expanded the review.

The news outlet also found: [Connecticut U.S. Attorney John] Durham has also requested to talk to CIA analysts involved in the intelligence assessment of Russia’s activities, prompting some of them to hire lawyers, according to three former CIA officials familiar with the matter. And there is tension between the CIA and the Justice Department over what classified documents Durham can examine, two people familiar with the matter said.

U.S. Attorney General William Barr has tapped Durham to conduct the investigation.

DOJ would not say whether the investigation has morphed into a criminal probe, NBC News acknowledged.

I sure hope this isn’t all smoke and mirrors. This attempted coup is a really big deal. Lots of people need to go to prison, and not just the small fry.

I’ll believe it when I see the perp-walk. I’ve lost faith that they’ll ever be brought to justice. Pres. Trump is the only one I trust in D.C.

Too slow for me. Giuliani linked clients get indicted and arrested within weeks on phoney campaign violations.

When will we see indictments? The evidence appears to be every where in plane sight.

The prosecutor conducting the review, Connecticut U.S. Attorney John Durham, has expressed his intent to interview a number of current and former intelligence officials involved in examining Russia's effort to interfere in the 2016 presidential election, including former CIA Director John Brennan and former director of national intelligence James Clapper, Brennan told NBC News.

Durham has also requested to talk to CIA analysts involved in the intelligence assessment of Russia's activities, prompting some of them to hire lawyers, according to three former CIA officials familiar with the matter. And there is tension between the CIA and the Justice Department over what classified documents Durham can examine, two people familiar with the matter said.

Four must have changes to rein in the traitors:
1. Abolish FISA Court. Secret courts have no place in justice.
2. Domestic spying by CIA is already illegal. Punishment must cruel and unusual.
3. Counterintelligence by FBI has to be severely cut back.
4. More oversight of both CIA and FBI.

The wheels of justice grind slowly, but surely...

Surely they grind, but often, they grind their enemies rather than criminals.

The problem with the slow-grinding snails pace of this investigation is that it leaves the President twisting in the wind while the Dems continue with their impeachment charade.

I’m not a genius but I predict the following.
The response to questions will be 1 of 2 things. Either they take the 5th or they cant recall.
The left are masters at not recalling anything.

Durham is now probing the Obama administration’s conduct before President Trump’s inauguration in January 2017

Sounds a lot of the 0bama admin jerks should be lawyering up.

I’m with you! I feel if any of this ever comes out it will only be with a Trump 2020 win.
If he loses we’ll know as much then as we know now. Meaning no one gets charged and no Rep will ever be president again.

Just give them all the Manifort treatment until they sing like canaries.

It’s only fair after what they’ve done.

” And there is tension between the CIA and the Justice Department over what classified documents Durham can examine,”

So the CIA claims the Attorney General has no jurisdiction over their activities. They claim they do not answer to the President and indeed they spy on him. They claim they do not answer to Congress and were caught spying on the computers of the Intel oversight committee.

So who exactly DO they claim to answer to? Or do they now simply claim to stand above all other branches of government and set national policy?

I don’t doubt that Trump is brilliant, and ‘rope-a-dope’ is a great analogy to what he is doing. But anyone who thinks this is all part of “a plan” is deluding themselves. Trump is fighting for the survival of his Presidency and his vision for America. If he is not reelected, he will have been but a speed bump on the road to socialism.
