I was born and grew up in Buffalo. I’d have to disagree with your wholesale assessment of Buffalo as a shithole. It has its seedier side, but it also has some beautiful middle-class neighborhoods, and the people have weathered all sorts of economic hard times, and have a reputation of looking out for their neighbors. Unfortunately, I would no longer recognize Hertel Avenue, so I’m told. All the stores and the movie theater have been replaced by condos. I hope Delaware Avenue, with its palatial mansions converted to other uses is still around, and they’ve drained the swamp that developed in the old rail beds after they removed the tracks. But I ain’t going back.
What? No Chik-fil-A in Batavia?
If it makes you feel better, I live outside of Philly.
One of the benefits of being 72, is that I won't have too many years left to put up with this PC BS in our society.
Youre in business to sell tacos, not bend over for Twitter dregs.
Hertel is doing very well, North Park theater is still in operation stores and resteraunts in abundance, one old catholic grade school converted to condos, and a new build or two more of condos. There is a lot of conversion/ new builds of condos/market rate apts, but not on Hertel per say. Delaware mansions have all had a lot of $’s put into them, and look better than they ever did.
I had to read that article a few times to fully understand what they are apologizing for.
Simply pathetic.
A wholesome meal with perhaps some familiar items on the plate?
Let them eat cake?
LET THEM STARVE!!! Yes, that's the liberal answer! Then we can accuse the "man" of starving detainees and being insensitive to their cultural dietary needs!
Wow nice way to turn a thoughtful deed into crap!
You are correct, sir.
I’ll have to correct the source of this gossip, then. North Park Theater used to run some great old movies, and new ones, too. I remember when those swampy rail beds were railroad tracks, with freight trains running on them. Has the Trump industrial renaissance caught up to the Fillmore and Broadway area yet?
Believe it or not, it started prior to President Trump, there is 5 Billion $’s in development going on over the last number of years West side, east side, south and north Buffalo.
“The way to stop this is to NOT respond.”
Yup. Look a Chick Fil A here in Hollywood. They didnt give a sh*t if the owner hates fags, and it was boycotted.
LOL some “boycott”...
Hands down it’s one of the busiest faST foods in L.A. Even the leftards I know of eat there and they are aware it’s a conservative business..
A lot of people have roots and don’t want to leave, even though the jobs are gone. I was being a smart ass, but it’s sad to drive through formerly decent places.
I was in Bethlehem PA just today. The steel industry isn’t coming back.
Who cares whether their food is good, they surrendered to the left, obviously they’re not patriotic. Just sayin, why spend your money supporting that kind of business. I am certain good food can be found in Buffalo at establishments that support our Republic.
Well, that’s excellent news. My home town’s talking proud again. No chance of the railroads coming back though. Now if I can just avoid visiting, despite the extended family there...
Israel’s been boycotted prior to its existence. Each time they lay another boycott on, our GNP jumps higher. Support the girlcott. Buy to defy. Likewise, all these virtue-signalling creeps.
Like I said, I ain’t going back to Buffalo. I’ll stick up for it, but as for living there again, or even visiting, no. The rest of the world is too interesting.
It would be poetic justice if an illegal stole their food truck...just sayin’
