I experienced something similar. 11 below zero and moisture froze the pressure regulator in my gas meter. My furnace tried to start but low pressure shut it down. Flame on my gas stove was about 1/8 inch. Gas company came at 1 am to fix it. In 2 hours my house dropped from 68 to 38 degrees. Wait till winter!

your view sounds like a mitigation of the responsibility for the murders. People did things, as the saying goes, and people should be named - not just lumped into some blanket cover like “the Soviets”. Stalin and Khrushchev were “the Soviets”.

You could interpret what I said charitably as an attempt to be precise in naming the responsible parties. Instead you seem to want to virtue signal by chastising me for not naming two leaders who were responsible.
Just think about the conflict you chose to create here and if you think it was really needed.
